If we get our noses in front tomorrow I fancy our chances. It we go behind for the first time in the league this season it will be interesting to see how we react. I do think Swindon will win tomorrow but certainly don't think they'll spank us as they've done at home in seasons gone by.

Either a 1-0 or 2-1 loss.

Bit contradictory there. Are you going to win or not?

After you've spent some time getting the splinters out yer arse from all that fence sitting, make your mind up!

Squad should look a fair bit stronger today with Jones, Kasim and Norris back in training and Delfouneso signing.

Quite fancy us for a narrow win now.

The best thing to do with Indian Dan, is to not acknowledge is existence in any way whatsoever

Haha. He can't be any worse than some of the weapons on OVF who support the same club as myself! :gr:

This guy would take OVF to an entirely new level. That is the sort of person we are dealing with here

If you don't get the number 1 spot on the Muggy Gobshite thread I shall have to reevaluate my thoughts on people's judgement on this forum

That is just my advice to others who might not be able to handle you like I have mastered.

And if you are referring to my good self, I finished outside of the top 50, so congratulations on being a bigger Muggy Gobshite c*** than me :D

That's hard to believe.

Seeing as you're dabbling on the forum I take it you're not gracing the CG with your presence this afternoon.

Unfortunately the desire to travel around the country watching Vale that I had in my younger days has gone and I now prefer to spend money on other things. Having visited the CG on one previous occasion and seeing us get spanked, I would have little desire to visit again even if I was still going to Vale games

Call yourself a fan? I, too, am of the older vintage and have stopped, almost, attending away games.

Perhaps we should take up bridge

As soon as I stopped going to games (originally because I took up playing on Saturday's although age and injury has stopped that now) I never claimed to be a fan, more a follower. Always failed to understand how someone can be a fan/supporter when they never go to games.

Never played bridge, but I'd happily challenge you to an intense game of dominoes

Swindon the better team for the first 20, us much better for the remainder and perhaps should be a goal up. Two decent sides going at it and it will probably be either a mistake or a worldie that settles this.

7 league halves without conceding now! Sounds like we took a while to get going but have been dominant last 20 minutes.

Hopefully we can get a result (point would be decent).

Nice to hear Swindon fans compliment us after some negative comments after other games.

Pretty much sums up the first half. Jones had had to make 2 goal saving tackles/blocks.

If we had a decent RB we'd be a goal up I reckon. Rodgers off for Thomas and Barry off for Furlong I think makes sense.

Delfouneso doesn't look half as bad as I expected!

Decent away performance from Vale so far. We got progressively worse as the half went on. Would bring Furlong on for Barry and my border collie for Rodgers, who's had a poor half.

Imagine if it stays 0-0 we will throw the pace of Alex Jones on to exploit the space. Sounds like we've created more chances than in all our other games put together but haven't been as clinical as previous.

Meh. Should have got something from the game but it is what it is. We needed to score in the 1st half in the period we were well on top. Swindon are decent and will be up there so we'll move on. We do need a bit more creativity in the side as it's unfair to expect our excellent backline to keep clean sheets week in, week out to win games. A wide player and an experienced striker and we'll be up there ourselves - Over to you, Smurf.

From what I heard on the radio it sounds like we were good for at least a point today and Swidon scored from Anthony a Grants mistake.

Like others have said an experienced striker and winger and we should be ok.

Also, it's good to see opposition fans complementing Vale.
