That seems like the correct answer and explains the different treatment. Blackpool are going to have a really congested schedule over this. Shouldn't think we're a shoo-on either given the original away tie and, well, us.
This guy seems to have covered it

#FACup - differences in Barnsley & Forest Green Rovers players ineligibility. Barnsley - breached rule 103 & fielded an unregistered player. Disqualified. FGR - breached rule 109 & fielded a registered loan player but without permission to play from parent club. Re-play tie.

Phil Annet is an FA Cup expert so this can be taken as gospel.

Dale Vince confirms it.

Actually it's Scarborough I feel sorry for. They're in whatever league without a pot to piss in and they have to play another match which they'll probably lose.

They get another crack at it having thought they were out and get 100% of the gate receipts this time. Hardly a disaster for them is it.

I'm more worried that our squad will suffer more injuries again, we could do with everyone being as fit as possible and concentrate on trying to stay in the Football League.

We're shite and have a number of crocks who struggle to play on 3/4g. So hardly a nailed on defeat for them either, wouldn't shock me if they beat us. Not sure what they are complaining about tbh.

It would be somewhat ironic if we lose and their fans get to stay in Blackpool to see their team play in the second round...when some of our fans have already had one, for the game that was postponed, and we were ultimately knocked out in the first.

The only real winners in this instance are the hotels in Blackpool who will benefit from having people stay for two games in the same round instead of the normal one.

Our game against Shrewsbury is now on the Sunday, 2pm. On S4C. No doubt ESPN will put it on in the US again

Currently 1-1, which is predictable.

Scarborough took the lead after an unmarked header was parried and rebound turned in, we equalised through Omotoye in similar circumstances. Hard fought game on their 3G so far.

Make that 2-1. Morton scores with their keeper on the floor after punching away a cross. We're off to Blackpool next Tuesday as it stands. Good times.

We won 4-2 in the end. Ropey at the back but decent going forward. So that's two wins and a draw against Scarborough this season. Hopefully we don't need to play then again.

Crap evening for the Alex, haven't seen the highlights, but it looks like the keeper is giving his detractors more ammunition. 4-0 at home against any team is embarrassing. Made it look more respectable, but still a piss poor result. Need a big reaction on Saturday.

Cracking goal from your ex loan player Antony Evans. He seemed to enjoy that one!

It's funny, because on loan for us in 20-21, he was one of the worst players I've ever seen. But for you lot he's been superb clearly. Probably heard a bit from the fans when he was with us, hence why he enjoyed it.

Our second round tie at Blackpool next Tuesday will now be played to a finish on the night, with extra time and pens if needed. Probably due to there being no space to fit in a replay before the third round.
