The team fines are for the scuffle after the match where our players took offence to the excessive goading.

The Pell fine is because he’s not even good enough to disguise the fact he was aiming at fans.

Some of the Milton Keynes support come across as a tad hypocritical here though. After their deserved late winner at Prenton Park, one of their players thought it a good idea to lob water into the home crowd. While it’s not in the Pell league of danger to fans, a stupid thing to do in terms of potential reaction. Gormless Darren Drysdale didn’t see anything so no sanction against the moron involved.

To be honest it seems that pretty much across the board in league 2 there are a lot of bell end players who love to goad opposition fans when they score, I’ve never seen it as bad as this season before where pretty much every time a goal is scored against us at the Ponny end the player tries to wind up our fans and from watching the EFL highlights most weeks it happens everywhere.
Yknow I could understand when playing a local rival but it’s just fucking everybody it seems, League 2 a league full of absolute twat players and most of them are fucking shit too which is why they play down here.

Definitely not in Pell's league as Deacon would say in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

He was a dick.

Banned and fined for being a bell end. Justice is served.

Wimbledon think they're holier than thou because of what happened to their club.

Always have been a bit more on the scummy scale though haven't they?

Do despise the existence of MK Dons but the club they support doesn't excuse dire treatment like that
Dire treatment my arse. Perhaps they won't bother turning up at plough lane again. There not welcome and never will be.

Not disputing that Pell is a bit of a dick sometimes but he didn't exactly blast the ball at them. Is it really a big deal !? Anyway Harry now has a song relating to his actions . The fans have paid his fine anyway and he hardly gets a game so the van is irrelevant.

Didn’t say otherwise in respect of Pell.

Disappointing that you’re not prepared to call out the stupidity by the Milton Keynes player though.

Not a big deal but we need content for this thread and this is worthy (the irony being one of your lot, Republic of Womble, started this particular section on Pell because they thought it was “tinpot” our supporters complained about him)…

Latest:

Pell said his shots into the crowd "were not struck with power but were intended more as a playful response to the verbal abuse from some of the spectators," in a letter to the FA on 12 March.

He added that sending the ball into the stands was a "rush of blood" reaction and "on mature reflection, I should have simply ignored the shouts and got on with my warm-up."

The independent Regulatory Commission investigating the incident said it was likely one of his shots hit an 11-year-old girl in the crowd.

"His actions had been irresponsible, particularly given the history of the two clubs involved and the sensitive and potentially volatile nature of the match," the commission's findings said.

The commission also said it found Wimbledon to be "largely, if not solely to blame" for the events after the final whistle.

It concluded home players Lee Brown, Isaac Ogundere, James Ball and Ronan Curtis caused the melee by goading the travelling fans following Curtis' added-time winner, sparking a reaction from the bench.

Ooooo he's got his own new song but doesn't play football very often. He sounds like a real gem.

No wonder he tries something
different in the warmup, only time he gets himself the pitch.

It's not a really big deal Gary he's just a dick. No better evidence than this.

Oh that's fine the balls hit into the crowd from 30 yards away weren't hit with power.... surprised the innocent 11 year old girl who went to watch a game of football didn't head them back :err:

In his defence he didn't need to properly warm up anyway he probably knew he wasn't actually going to get on the pitch to play in the actual game.

Bigger club than Gillingham though. O sorry your owner said you are a sleeping giant lol.
It is because of people like you that National Gary Day in November is not celebrated as much as it should be.

He'll be moving on in the summer anyway.

To stop all this bitching between Wimbledon and MK fans maybe the clubs should just merge together to stop any more animosity?
Or fans support both clubs then if one is doing shit just bin them off and support the other one for a while until roles are reversed.
Problems solved, no need to thank me.

Hopefully we won't be in the same division next season. The vast majority of Wimbledon fans would rather not play them anyway.

Quite a lot of discourse here between MK Dons and Wimbledon, didn't realise they were such big rivals.

Yep it’s totally ridiculous.....think it’s all to do with the most roundabouts bragging rights.

They need to learn to love one another....they might find they have a lot in common if they get to know each other properly.

Last night our club had a meet the Chairman and Manager Q&A session...which was fine except that Dale didn't bother to attend.

We had a fans forum the other month. Without any fans.

Just the one bell-end in attendance instead of two then.
