Watched it again and on that basis probably a yellow given there’s 3 other defenders who’d have got there first on that basis. One of those where you’d have gone mental had it been a yellow given against your team though.

Agreed, the “we were once good” approach is like that bloke at the beginning of the shawshank redemption when he gets battered by the guards for saying he doesn’t belong here, that’s the best analogy i can use for the conference. You only get out of the conference once you admit you’re conference.

It’s hard to see if honest, but apart from DKD we were woefully wasteful infront of goal this term despite scoring 90!, we missed some absolute sitters constantly. He’ll know we won’t get that up here and will need to be more clinical, as conker said though if he’s local and after a decent ish...

Aye i said that earlier in the thread it was a bit tinpot, but whatever, it worked and the turnout was decent. It’s another example of the great bond that now exists between the football club and the town the last 5 years or so - which had been lacking for years

Got mates who live in weston which i suppose makes bristol others and plymouth (if they come down) liveable. Never been to exeter for the football, though ironically 3 times to watch the rugby, nice place.

What happened this season: Finished 3rd in league 2 after some near misses in previous seasons, we managed to get over the line this time, in what was probably the toughest league 2 we’ve been in - budget wise we were 6th/7th so probably over achieved, which was reflected in nigel clough winning...
