At half time with us losing at rotherham and Brovers winning at wrexham there were a few of us starting to get a little concerned shall we say, at the time we were only 2 points apart, but with wrexham getting an equaliser and us gaining the point at rotherham it’s changed the dynamics.
We’re...
Some absolutely riotous scenes in that mansfield away end to get it back to 3-3, as per a sell out but bloody hell that could be massive.
If we could like go 1 game without giving a really ridiculously stupid goal away it’d be magic.
Friday is very much a case of going to rotherham and hoping we can get a point and seeing what happens below. We won the return fixture 2-1 in a scrappy turgid game, another like that would be wonderful. As expected, a sellout away following in attendance of around 2,200 or so.
Rotherham (though hopefully not with a win) and Barnsley can join lincoln in league 1 next season on friday, though both are basically there barring some weird and ridiculous results.
When you’ve won 3 games this year you don’t tend to be as optimistic.
Big day for us tomorrow without playing, if burton/Bristol rovers don’t win at home i’ll be a little happier but think one will sneak a win.
Nice attempt, a solid 2/10 there :bg:
Nir unlucky just not the the quality, plenty of effort and endeavour just we waste too many chances and seem to always concede from every shot we face, hitting crossbars and missing sitters don’t gain you points.
Just would’ve been nice to have won and put...
Think last night realistically has seen exeter safe, and a useful point for wigan too.
Mansfield could’ve collected a point too, but why do that when you can lose and make things difficult instead. urgh.
Burton host an indifferent huddersfield side while Bristol rovers face exeter, a game...
Lord knows what Mansfield side will turn up - we've played relatively well against Charlton and Huddersfield in the last 2 games but managed to contribute to our own downfall by either silly mistakes or missing open nets - you can get away with it in L2, but as we've found to our cost multiple...
We've been better in the last 4/5 games despite narrow losses - both of which we've helped to cause.
Would be happy with a point, would be another baby step in the right direction.
You'd think realistically, though Wigan still need a win (though they've games in hand).
With home games against Orient, Peterborough and Exeter (also Reading but they're on great form) we should get the 2/3 points we need to get over the line.
What do you do if you run your club sustainably though? you've no chance.
When in league 1 you've Birmingham spending masses on transfers and wages, and Wrexham with all their circus to start all you're going to do is end up having a bigger and bigger gap.
Whereas it's not exactly news, it's...
