A few teams making up games in hand.

Depending on how results pan out, I believe that Brum’s promotion could officially be confirmed today.

Big games in the arse end of the playoff hunt for Bolton and Reading.

Our auto hopes are progressively fading, but if we could get a result at Hudds then it would at least be a boost to sliding confidence levels.

Not sure i can be bothered with this, looking forward to more boring crap, poor officiating and empty stands.

Cant wait for the season to end

We’ve had our feet up for a few weeks now, chance for Mansfield to get that win they need.

We've been better in the last 4/5 games despite narrow losses - both of which we've helped to cause.

Would be happy with a point, would be another baby step in the right direction.

All the pressure on Wycombe. They've got to win.

They don't have to... do they?
For the sake of their confidence and morale, I'd say yes, they do personally. Imagine if it were us - level on games with only 5 to play and 6 points behind - it'd be gutting for the team. Not over, but so, so deflating.

Wigan at home, probably going to be the dullest of 1-0 defeats the world has ever seen.

Will Aimson is going to have the game of his life too, and will probably score the winner, in front of the Big Bank.

Playing awful, we have no natural full backs so we are keeping the 5/3/2 that will never be winning football

Two forwards that are too alike and a growing injury list

3-1 win

Yeah, I think so.

Even if the 2nd auto spot is gone (which I think it is, given a) our relative run-ins b) our inability to perform consistently) then the longer that our form is wank, we're pretty much handing the playoffs on a plate to Charlton or Stockport, through a lack of confidence.

Doesn't bear thinking about if we lose to both in the run-in, but I've almost steeled myself to Charlton either leapfrogging, or already having leapfrogged us by the time we play them on Mon 21 April.

Changing manager when we did was fucking nonsense - it's not *quite* as cut and dried as "we went shit when we lost our manager" as our purple patch had already stopped before Bloomfield left, but it's certainly derailed us.

Nothing like self-inflicted wounds, eh.

Clearly the players fancy playing for Hamshaw, whereas they couldn't or wouldn't for Mr Evans.

Two good wins have lightened the mood around the place but 3 matches in 8 days may take its toll tomorrow.

There were 3 youth players on the bench on Saturday and that's likely to be the case again.
We are still playing two midfielders in the CH spots but they have done ok TBF, a draw would be a great result in the circumstances.

Thought you never had anyone under 30 in your squad !!

The kids wouldn't be anywhere near the bench but Raggett, MacDonald and Mc Williams are done for the season.
Plus Jules, Dan Gore, Andre Green are out until the end of the month and Kayode is not quite ready for a return.

Wellens has said we have a few defensive injuries with Dan Happe now gone for the rest of the season and Edmonds-Green 50/50 to play, we may have a makeshift centre half. We keep having to change our defence due to injuries and it’s really impacted us the last few months.

Might be a twitch or 2 in Wigan tonight if they lose.

Lord knows what Mansfield side will turn up - we've played relatively well against Charlton and Huddersfield in the last 2 games but managed to contribute to our own downfall by either silly mistakes or missing open nets - you can get away with it in L2, but as we've found to our cost multiple times this season, you can't here.

wish we could do this, in recent times we seem to have a complete phobia of 2 up front, god knows why - maybe they just don’t teach it any more in coaching school.

Our next 4 games are against 19th, 20th, 21st & 22nd. A proper opportunity to get the 1 win we need (not mathematical but basically) Followed by a home game against Huddersfield, ending with a trip to 17th placed Mansfield. So basically it’s all in our hands

Diabolical side Huddersfield. Have they ever scored at home?

We Wrexhamed it, looked fairly crap for the most part but made the most of a Hudds defensive arse-up to get the 1-0.

Still far from convincing, and the auto slot is no longer in our hands, but at least we're not completely dead in the water. Still wouldn't fancy us against Charlton or Stockport over 2 legs though.

I thought we was lucky to win tbh, we really struggle right now to see out games.

If Mansfield made it 2-0 when they hit the bar They’d have likely won the game. Having said that, Brown should’ve made it 3-1 I thought and seconds later it’s 2-2.

Won it thanks to a Charlie Kelman wonder goal, really hope we can at least get him the golden boot, all his goals have been from open play as well.

Mansfield will stay up, but like us right now they seemed to coast a bit too much when they’re comfortable.

Think we shaded it. Definitely a pen but apart from that Wigan didn't do much, we came out of our shell and attacked well in the end. Wigan seemed happy for a point, I'm a bit disappointed but at least it was better than the last two home games. Reece Cole is back on form

I thought Kone was offside on the lead up to the goal tbh (I've not watched it back though).

For all Huddersfields possession they never looked like scoring. At least Wycombe actually threatened the goal so you probably deserved to win that.

If you win on Saturday and we lose at Wigan you're back in second. I'm not counting any chickens yet!
