    England v Belgium, 28th June, 7pm(GMT)

I reckon Walker will be rested as he's on a yellow card. Dier for Henderson, Rose for Young and Vardy or Rashford for Sterling would be my only other changes.

    Denmark v France, 26th June, 3pm(GMT)

Has he been more disappointing than the rest of the French side? Greizmann or Mbappe or any of their other superstars haven't really got going yet. I read the other day that Pogba had played a part in all 3 of their goals so far.

    England v Panama, 24th June, 1pm(GMT)

This is hilarious. I think you're subconsciously obsessed with the English national football team. You're even spending a vast amount of your time talking about the team on the internet.

    Iran v Portugal, 25th June, 7pm(GMT)

I thought VAR was only going to be used to overturn "clear and obvious" mistakes. No chance that was "clear and obvious". His arm wasn't in an unnatural position as he was jumping up, it wasn't deliberate and it was headed onto his arm from an incredibly close angle. It's a shame such a...

It's weird but you've just gotta laugh at it. This tweet summed it up nicely:

    England v Belgium, 28th June, 7pm(GMT)

They mostly seem angry that England fans are enjoying a major tournament for once. I might feel sorry for them if it wasn't so funny.

    England v Panama, 24th June, 1pm(GMT)

He wasn't that bad, his movement brought others into play and he was unlucky not to score. I don't reckon he'll start against Belgium though. I'd start Vardy, they play a high line and playing Vardy off shoulder, exploiting the space behind would be perfect.

    England v Panama, 24th June, 1pm(GMT)

Smashing a team we should smash on the big stage is progress. It won't mean much when we're playing the likes of Belgium but scoring six is only going to keep our confidence going. "Benji" is an automated bot. Malfunctions do happen.

    Germany v Sweden, 23rd June, 7pm(GMT)

Top analysis from the boys. But for a shocking disallowed goal decision England had came back from 2 goals down and were on course to win the game (and probably the whole World Cup). Good times.

    Argentina v Croatia, 21st June, 7pm(GMT)

Hard to believe that Argentina can't find a place for Dybala to start. He's one of the best players in the world and would take some of the spotlight off Messi which would benefit the main man massively imo, he always has so little space and so little creativity around him when playing for...

    Tunisia v England, 18th June, 7pm(GMT)

We didn't run ourselves into the ground - as evidenced by our late winner. Our heads dropped slightly after conceding and we were probably more wary of their counter attack after that but we were still the team on top and very unlucky not to get a penalty. I think you're underestimating Tunisia...

    Tunisia v England, 18th June, 7pm(GMT)

Much needed win that keeps the good feeling that surrounds this squad going. Would've been devastating if we failed to win that considering the amount of chances we created and the fact we should've had a penalty - can't believe VAR missed that, the defender wasn't even looking at the ball and...

    Tunisia v England, 18th June, 7pm(GMT)

I reckon we'll win. Tunisia are no mugs but I think the movement of Alli and Lingard will cause them too many problems, hopefully our finishing is good enough.

    Germany v Mexico, 17th June, 4pm(GMT)

Brilliant by Mexico. They probably should've scored more, Germany afforded them so much space, especially in the first half.

    France v Australia, 16th June, 11am(GMT)

    Fair point.

    France v Australia, 16th June, 11am(GMT)

The ball does change direction. Barely = only just. Enough.

    France v Australia, 16th June, 11am(GMT)

Barely is enough. The fact people are divided on it suggests to me that the decision shouldn't have been changed. It was definitely less of a penalty than Sævarsson on Pavon in the Argentina/Iceland game, when VAR wasn't even used.

    France v Australia, 16th June, 11am(GMT)

I like the idea of VAR but we've got to have sensible people executing it. No chance is that a clear penalty.

    Russia v Saudi Arabia, 14th June, 4pm(GMT)

Saudi Arabia are far too lightweight, they wouldn't look out of place at next years Women's World Cup. Fair play to Russian though, scored some nice goals, got the party started. I reckon they'll give Egypt and Uruguay decent games.

Julen Lopetegui sacked as Spain Head Coach on eve of World Cup

There's only three Barca players in the Spain squad, and they're all pretty much guaranteed starters if fully fit. I highly doubt he'd have played Nacho over Pique. It's fair enough they sacked him I guess, he and Madrid obviously didn't go about it in the right way, but the idea it was...
