Obsessed!? I like what Caldwell is trying to implement in our squad. Cheick didn’t fit that, so completely fine with him moving on. Also, with a break clause in the loan we can always bring him back if we need him. Good business from the club.

Diabate going to Bradford on loan. This should mean we have a replacement lined up. We’ve now got 5 loans so presume we’ll only look at permanents. Could be a quiet day on the ins front, but who knows.

We’ve signed forward/ winger Amani Richards from Leicester on a season long loan. Someone who ticks the ‘highly rated’ box. Hopefully he will make an impact but it’s nice to have another forward option available.
