That’s well unlucky re Francis. In his interview yesterday he said he was really scared it could have been a career ending injury, but fortunately the injury turned out to be more cosmetic and he was back playing within 3 weeks.

What’s the crack with Matt Jay? He seems to have really struggled since leaving us, but I heard he fell out with your previous manager? If you can get the best out of him, he can certainly score plenty in L2 so I hope he gets a chance this season from the Cowleys.

Cheers. Yeah it’s a bit of a strange one. Think he’s a low risk punt and if he can prove himself then all good. He did ok at Arbroath but that’s really NL level. Time will tell on this one, I guess.
