Sounds like Heckingbottom will be looking to add a couple to the squad. Loans I imagine. A CB is 100% needed but we also lack a proper target man in the squad with Ched Evans no longer an option.

Did well at Barnsley, getting them promoted then keeping them up (14th) before being poached by Leeds where he was sacked after 16 games. We're not demanding exciting football, just watchable football that has basic patterns of play.

We brought him over from Cork originally, didn't make the grade at this level. League Two and Bury/Rochdale was obviously his level. Seems a very good coach but he'd be a gamble, wouldn't be totally averse to him though.
