They also completely gubbed us and the Den.

Is your club equipped for being promoted? And at what price

Ish. We've shown that when run at our best and most efficient we are able to compete in the division above, but it only takes a bad managerial appointment or a lost dressing room and we can come tumbling down very quickly. For teams like ourselves who are able to be competitive financially on...

    Bradford v Millwall

Yup, turned a combative and effective midfield from recent weeks into one with only Thompson offering anything worthwhile.

    Swindon v Millwall

Difficult one to predict really. We're on a bit of a roll and playing pretty well whilst Swindon have improved immeasurably from earlier in the season. That said, they were by far the worst team I've seen in league one this season and on that basis we ought to be looking to win this one.

I must ask, why do you feel you should be play-offs? I'd have thought there were at least 8 or 9 times that most would fancy above Southend based on squad & manager quality. Possibly the momentum from a Wembley win would carry you a bit but I couldn't honestly say I would have expected to see...

    Millwall v Wigan (01/03/16)

Possibly, although our away form is miles better than our home form. Be interesting to see how the two teams compare as our team is not dissimilar to the one that beat you comfortably at the Den last season, whilst Wigan have changed virtually every single player.

Too inconsistent for top 2 I think. Games like Scunthorpe last Tuesday and Crewe a couple of weeks ago more or less rule us out of contention. We'll do well to get play-offs, get to the summer and offload the last load of detritus from Holloway's reign and another year's experience for the...

    Millwall v Scunthorpe

Both those and the fact the Harris keeps trying to play with a more attacking line-up at home which destroys our shape.

    Millwall v Scunthorpe

Yeah, that's pretty much how I saw it. Scunthorpe worked very hard and stopped us from really getting hold of the game. The bad mistake for their goal was unfortunate, but we never really recovered having probably edged the game prior to that. Without Williams in the middle we really do lack any...

    Rochdale vs Millwall

Looks like a tight game in which we had a bit of luck and an in-form striker who made a difference. Will absolutely take that at this point in the season. 2 massive home games coming up now, which if we can start to replicate our away form will begin to see us consolidate a play-off spot.

    'Sall vs 'Wall

With the other 4 defensive options all possibly out (Craig, Edwards, Cummings and Williams) losing Beevers is a fairly big blow. We might well have to select the same teenage centre half who was utterly dire vs you lot in the home game. If Nelson plays we lose this game, IMO.

    Best signing of the transfer?

Sam Morsy for next to nothing to Wigan, hands down.

    Millwall vs Crewe Alexandra

Care to put any money on it? :-)

    Millwall vs Crewe Alexandra

Didn't think of the penalties should have been given to be honest. All 3 were highly suspect.

    Millwall vs Crewe Alexandra

Crewe were relatively comfortable in possession, but weren't interested in trying to attack (as predicted by their fans). To their credit they defended in numbers, but even so we had enough good chances to win it by 2 or 3. Some of the misses, particularly the penalty, Morison's 1 on 1, and both...

5 Players from League1/League 2 who could play in the premier league.

Sawyers from Walsall is another one IMO. I think Archer from ourselves has a real chance too, although nobody else will even go close to that level from our lot.

5 Players from League1/League 2 who could play in the premier league.

I thought he was dire. Never in the right place, no pace, not a great finisher and couldn't hold the ball up. Didnt rate him at all.

None of those walk into a premier league side. Dack might be good enough in a year or three. Jay Simpson wasn't good enough for league one! Dreadful player.

    Stickied League 1 Transfer Rumours/Confirmed Transfers 2024/25

That does ring a bell. Think he left a month after signing. We've also signed Shane Ferguson from Newcastle on a permanent. He's been good since joining on loan and is a decent age. Pleased with that.

    Stickied League 1 Transfer Rumours/Confirmed Transfers 2024/25

He was ok for us in the short time we had him. Seemed to have a falling out with the management and left us before he could really settle down. Bit of pace but not the best finisher. Reckon he's probably a good signing at this level.
