Nice guy, Rob Elliot, said he was angry with his players after they let in 4 goals in the first 30 minutes. Imagine spending your own money and time travelling bloody miles then watching that.
Not quite sure why he is angry. The club went out and recruited players who are clearly not up to...
The ref blew for time just as we were getting back into it.
You have to laugh or else you'd cry. Hearing Elliot say how we played well for most of the match will give me a chuckle later.
I was hoping we'd go down with a bit of fight anout us. Oh well!

Saturday and tonight we played decent league 1 sides. We hang on in there but rarely cause them any problems. It's like watching a plucky non league side against a fully pro team.
I can't complain. We tried hard we gave it a go but Charlton were just too big and strong for us.
The ref allowed...
The disallowed goal at the end of the Crawley v Reading game.
From my, far from neutral, standpoint the ref cooked up big time there. Yes the ref had blown the whistle before Swan struck the shot but it seems very odd that a full time whistle is blown when a cross is coming into the box...
I tried to post earlier but my phone wouldnt let me.
Today showed why we will get rlegated and Reading will not get promoted.
Reading appeared to be going through the motions towards the end of the season. We appeared completely devoid of any ideas.
We are meant to be fighting for our lives...
As I said last week. We will play well and lose or play badly and lose.
Two strikers suspended from the incidents v Cambridge. That means either Swan (who has been playing left wing back) or John-Jules (who has not scored a goal) up front and due to injuries we will probably have a back 3 of...
I might upset some Birmingham fans here but aren't Villa the big second city club? A bit like Manure are Manchester's.
They're all bloody massive to Crawley.

Our striker, Tola Showunmi, has received a 3 match ban for an incident in the Cambridge game that was not seen by the officials.
There's a video reporting to show the incident, which if truly is the incident, is very tame. The Cambridge player is fouling Showunmi (in the box) and Showunmi...
Didn't watch Lincoln v Crawley so no comment on the game but I did watch the post match interview with Elliot.
He has finally admitted what every fan who has watched us this season has said from the start. We have no physicality,we can't stop crosses and when a cross comes in we can't defend...
Gladwin was Crawley's interim head coach when Lindsey left. This copying has gone on too much now.
With us you could tell he didn't want to be there and as soon as a new manager was announced he jumped ship.
Laraman could be a loss though. Very good coach.

We will either play well and lose or play badly and lose. Either way it's getting depressing now.
Murphy will be suspended after the sending off so Swan or Showuni will fail to score and our usual defensive masterclass will let in a couple.
Casey
They normally announce it in the ground but I didn't hear it for this game.
I've asked on our forum if anyone knows and will post it if I find out. Looked a fair few Cambridge fans there...and noisy as well.
Casey
Looking at Lindsey's record you can't be surprised he has gone and, as a Crawley fan, it's hard to feel sorry for him given the state he allowed our team to get into in the summer.
If he had stayed and got relegated with us he would still have a chance of a league 1 job next season. Now, league...
Just watched the 'highlights' of Crawley v Cambridge.
I did think the first goal was a foul but then I've spouted off before about keepers being given too much protection so I can't really complain when it goes against us.
Both sendings off were correct.
Crawley have one of the worst...
I would like to speak about how our patterns of play failed today. I would like to tell you how our attack/midfield/defence were below par but still tried to keep going. Hell, I'd like to tell how great Cambridge were and how they swept us aside.
We had nothing. No effort, no idea, no gameplan...
