Well, looking at the table tonight, with four teams now bracketed between 11th and 15th on 51 points (and with a 5 point gap above and 4 below) this could turn out to be the most exciting 'mini league" evaaaah.
(Just a shame about our own abysmal GD)
Unfortunately as far as that forum is concerned Port Vale seem to have left their late season surge a little late.
Still the Championship's gain is L2's loss.
(Always assuming of course that the EFL doesn't overturn every dodgy goal scored against them and every refereeing mistake - if they do...
You're welcome Florrie.
Thanks for your massive 3pts last Tuesday
And we've still got Cheltenham and your "Potty" neighbours to come. Hope we can return the favour.
See you next season
Bit harsh there about the Stevenage player there Denz.
Even GC says now that, after reviewing the video evidence, it looked a genuine accident with no malice intended.
Stevenage at home for us on Tuesday. Who would EVER have though that could possibly turn out to be a "top of the League 1 clash"?
Might even attract more than 3,000 crowd!
Exmouth Town 1 Exeter City 3.
Although it was a young(ish) side 5 of the starters did figure in our L1 campaign last year and Kyle Taylor (just back from an 18 month injury) would almost certainly have played a big role.
So I respectfully request that our Cheltonian adjudicator re-assess...
On the other hand, perhaps some of us ex-bottom-feeders might prefer a return to that wonder that still is the FA Trophy...where we can enjoy mid-season distractions like Kings Lynn, Arlsley, Grays, Billericay etc
(Or for you more northern types Blythe Spartans, Frickley Colliery or Leigh RMI)...
