We've signed John-Kymani Gordon on loan from Palace until Jan.

Any good hellogregory ?

Yes. Very good. He’s not your typical young prem loanee, he’s physically ready for this level and isn’t afraid to battle. He can beat players, reasonably quick, he can finish with both feet. Was a little inconsistent early on for us, but grew into his loan spell. I feel we saw the tip of the iceberg last season and I think he’ll be even better this season.

He’s been regularly on the bench for Palace’s premier league games so far this season, so they clearly rate him.

Tennai Watson now confirmed. Happy with that in the sense we desperately needed someone at RB and he looked good at this level last season but wonder how long it'll take him to be match fit

We've accepted deals from Wrexham and Gillingham for Harrison apparently but its conditional on a replacement coming in with us after Britt Assombalonga according to SkySportsSteve on Twitter!

I wouldn’t give that too much or any attention. Has about the same legitimacy that EFL Hub or any other fake rumours account used to have.

Rumours we’ve bid for Barnet striker Nicke Kabamba. I mean he’s scored well of late, but was hoping for better in all honesty.

We must have been linked to about 8 strikers in the last 24 hours. Surely we can get a couple sorted!!

Seen one of our old players, Louie Watson, is set to sign for Charlton on loan. Surprised by that one, personally, I can't see him playing much. He's a non-league/league two player - not top end League One.

We’re close to signing a LWB on loan. It’s not Denver Hume, looks like he’s off to either Port Vale or Swindon.

Well we do need a wingback. Have seen some suggest we might be thinking of bringing Gibbons back from Bristol Rovers (no thanks his body isn’t up to it). Never heard of this Hume lad before but then that’s true of a fair few of our signings before we make them.

That’s where I got the info from!

While players can have different levels of performance at different clubs... Kabamba was very poor even at League two level. Apparently we'd been trying to get Muskwe all summer, but you selling Nombe obviously gives you the flex in the budget to go the extra mile which we don't really have the ability to do within our budget.

Muskwe in on a season long loan from Luton. Happy with that and hopefully the first of a few today.

Nice one, sounds very promising.

Yeah agree. If Kabamba came in, I’d be sceptical if he could improve us, especially at 30 years old.

Re Muskwe, it’s always frustrating when another club is able to offer more money and definitely not something we’re used to. I’m confident he’s a decent signing.

I'm not frustrated by it - you sold one of your key players for £800k, we've kept all our squad together and put Hoskins on a new 3 year deal. In return that's allows you to go get someone in that we couldn't reach financially. It's only really annoying when it's a team spending massively outside their means, which clearly isn't the case with Exeter.

Hume was a bizzare January window Danny Cowley signing.

Our obvious deficiency at the time was in the attacking areas. Out of the blue we signed Hume for £200k instead, using the entire budget in the process.

The strange thing is that Hume is a wing back, but we didn’t play a wing back system and never have. He has struggled to ever get a look in as a result.

Haven’t seen enough of him to give a full assessment. He seems weak in defensive duties, incredibly one footed, but can whip in a dangerous cross.

I would imagine we’d be contributing in wages to any deal we’re negotiating.

I like you, you've just saved us at least £200,000 according to all the other speculation on the Nombe fee.
Maybe we can get a LB we really need one, oh and a CH that's not injured all the time!

We play a wing back system and need a left wing back as back up to Conor Grant (or to challenge him obviously ideally!)

There was (reportedly) a sell-on fee due to Wycombe which would make the £800k due to us sound about right.

I just googled it quickly, I'm not sure of the exact amount of the fee, but I think the point is that if you sell a player for the lion shares of a million, you probably can afford to go outbid a club with one of the lowest budgets in the league to a loan player without it being instrinsically unfair.

Apparently we've missed out on two, with McNeil to Stevenage being the other major target we're looking at. If we take Hylton out of the equation on his 12th month of injury, we've got 5 Strikers or wide players total at the club, so they'll definitely be searching for more, but I don't know if their's a target C, especially as the rumoured Pinnock exit to Gillingham seems to have not materialised.

Highly doubt we are interested in Butler-Oyedeji anymore after getting the kid from Palace, don't think we could afford to get both.

Sorry for my limited knowlege, I had heard you would have to pay a sell on but wasn't aware it was so much.

Sounds like Klopp has vetoed the Bobby Clark loan as he wants him around the first team this season. Shame as that one sounded like it was on its way to being done.

Nothing more on Will Vaulks. Jonson Clarke-Harris rumour has been dismissed. It seems like Brighton aren't pushing for Cashin today, so seems likely he will stay which is good news.

I'd probably put a bit of money on no ins or outs for us at this stage in the day, but who knows. Richie Barker made a good point yesterday that come this evening teams will be preparing/travelling for games tomorrow so he didn't expect it to be too crazy from anyone around the league.

We will see - less than 10 hours to go!

Physically ready for this level?
Finish with both feet?
You saw a different player from me.
JK Gordon was alright for us, good luck to him at Cambridge.

Have to say Oxford have had themselves one hell of a good transfer window. Probably fair to say the best of everyone.
