No shape at all, two 9’s, two 10’s, no width, worrying that this is what we have to work with for the season.

Have to say that I look at your squad and think: “It’s mostly pretty good, but whoever gets more than five goals will be top scorer.”

Didn't think it was a great game. Harrogate comfortably the better side, they looked much more of a well coached and drilled unit than Bradford, although I don't think the former have made too many changes in the summer so that's probably not a surprise.

Falkingham stands out like a sore thumb for Harrogate, he makes them tick.

another 1-1 home draw, Leyton Orient did virtually nothing apart from the 1 goal. ref was no better - Orient got 1 red and 6 yellows and Barrow 4 yellows. Another 2 points dropped at home - should have had 7 or 9 so far ffs.

Yes an ill-spirited game, thought you were the better side but really hard to say how good/bad we are given our main CB was sent off in the 8th minute (fair red though, was the last man).

Thought we did well not to cave and then get a goal back, wouldn't have settled for anything less than 3 points before the game, pleased with a point after.

We're away at Walsall tonight and Grimsby travel to Cheltenham for the COVID rearranged games....................

We then play the Mariners on Saturday.

Can't see us getting anything at Walsall tonight after a long trip and long game away at Barrow on Saturday with ten men for 80mins.

Walsall are a good side as well, I can see their front four causing us problems and we don't defend! Only 7 league clean sheets under Ross Embleton.

If you want a laugh, watch Grimsby's second goal tonight. Jesus Christ that's some bad goalkeeping...

Not sure we were worthy of 3-1 but I think we saw some solid tactics tonight with a bit of luck thrown in (the penalty not given and some shit goalkeeping). Shows that we can play alright though if we want.

Thought we were really good tonight, could’ve been 5-6 had we not had Montel Gibson up front missing sitters for fun. Owura Edwards is absolutely ace.

Nice to see Cheltenham resorting to stamping on one of our players yet again (this time Ben Tozer doing the stamping) fucking disgraceful

Like many times since we've come back up, ultimately lost to the better side on the day despite plenty of endeavour.

Walsall deserved the win, but I thought Conor Wilkinson had a golden chance to level the game at 2-2 which was our only clear cut chance of the second half.

Walsall bossed most of the game, particularly the first half and managed to recover from gifting us the lead and missing a penalty and in truth they should really have put the game safe as well.

They'll be there or thereabouts the playoff places, tricky front four who will cause teams problems. Wes MacDonald certainly has improved it seems and will likely play higher if Walsall don't go up IMO.

We need our best XI playing to stand a better chance against the better sides, also we always concede goals, we just cannot keep a clean sheet. Lawrence Vigouroux can only do so much each game.

Surely the Cheltenham player is getting a retrospective ban for this disgusting stamp?

Oh FFS - you've started them off now haven't you...

Seriously, unlike the Wright one which was a gentle press down on McKeown (which he got a 3 game ban for) that's nasty and malicious by Tozer and he deserves having the book thrown at him for it.

As for tonight's game - we were shocking in defence. One of those nights at the back, and we could be going until tomorrow and not find another goal. Such is life, we move on to Saturday.

Would agree with that silly mistakes and defensive errors have been costing us points so far and it almost happened again tonight if we can cut that out we could be in with a shout this season.

McKeown will be black and blue today, he took a battering from your big lads.

Poor little Edwards (he's on loan from Bristol City) got hammered almost every time he got the ball, Cheltenham taking it in turns to kick him; the stamping just typified how you tried to deal with him.

If only the referee gives a penalty and sends off their defender for tipping the ball onto the post at 0-0, we'd more than likely have three more points and be top of the league. Instead we're looking at a minumum three game ban for our 30-year-old captain for stamping on a 19-year-old kid who ran rings around him all game :ffs:

Have to give credit to Grimsby though, not many teams can carve us open as easily as they did and you should've had five or six. Ironically for all the good chances you created it was only when we produced a defensive/goalkeeping howler that you scored. One to forget, but confident we can put it right at Roots Hall on Saturday.

The ref had a poor game, missed rather a lot of stuff, the handball being the main one for you, but he also allowed Edwards to be kicked, pushed and generally manhandled all game.

Your young goalkeeper will have nightmares about that goal, not seen one so bad since our McKeown did something similar in a Play-Off Semi-Final at Gateshead. Hope, like McKeown he gets over it.

The young lad (Gibson) who missed the 'sitters' and had the header disallowed for offside (correctly) has come up a few levels (obtained from Halesowen), he's a bit too keen to impress but at least he got into those positions, even if he did snatch at the chances. He is still young, so plenty of time for him to settle down a bit.

Bolton Wanderers are a club that has cheated the system for years and their fans are vile thugs. No wonder so many people loathe them.
Another bitter post that i can now laugh at

If Masi and Robshep had their own theme tune, it would be the itchy and scratchy one wouldn’t it?

I am laughing at you because you are a complete joke

I have laughed at you since August
If you can afford the time to go back through previous threads you can probably afford the time to improve your educational level. Take Giorgio with you. He has exactly the same spelling and grammar problems. Probably has no choice going where you go anyway.

From your lofty view at floor 17 at Hatton Towers you can survey your kingdom.

Congratulations on having a song wrote about you
What took you so long by the Courteeners

Listen to the first two verses....The first describes you
The second is me mocking you.....

Truly is about YOU
