Unbelievable!

February 20th we travelled to Boreham Wood 12 points adrift - less than 2 months later we're 6 clear. An 18 point swing is far beyond anything I expected.

Absolutely chuffed to pieces with the passion and desire that Nicho has got in this squad. Also delighted for Youngy after 8 months out, banging in a 20 yarder 10 minutes into his first full start. What a hero!!

Buzzing for Bromley - revenge for the 7-3 would be fantastic!

That's strange, just looked at the table and noticed that nearly all those games in hand Grimsby were going to win have been played, but they're still 10 points behind us despite us not winning in ages.

Operation Promotion is looking like the roaring success everyone didn't think it would be. Lol.

Whilst I did predict a home win v Wrexham i never dreamed it would be so convincing. Our front three of Olli Johnson, Adam Boyes and young Bury loanee Anthony Dudley worked so well first half, 3-0 in front after 26 minutes and game over.
Second half we just sat back and let Wrexham play out from the back and started defending from half way inside our half. Their goal predictably came from a corner, if only we could defend high balls into our box for ninety five minutes!
Still created three gilt edged chances in that second half but fluffed them all, Tom Craddocks fluffed tap in at the back post from 1 yard out with an empty net was a belter, he stood on the ball ffs. Summed up his season for us.
Happy tonight, I'm certain we will stay up after that.
Thank you Wrexham for having a stinker, much appreciated

Does me fine. Want Torquay to secure safety... and Kiddy. Last one is a ridiculous long shot however...

I've just realised I've horribly screwed my maths up for Kidderminster, and, in essence, they are boned :(

Harsh one on a good mate of mine who is a Villa fan but grew up near Kiddy and used to go over there a lot when he lived back up north... Talk of a horror season.

We're still not down yet Look Out There Are Llamas gotta have some faith ;)

Honestly I'm just happy we're not bottom of the league anymore and to quote Colin Gordon "I'm getting a nose bleed" On the game Halifax were not that good, the probably edged the first half but in the second we could have scored about 4 we also missed a pen. Dan Sweeney made his professional debut for us and was brilliant won the penalty and is good to see another academy player make the first team.

Also congrats Solihull on your title well deserved.

It appears Mr Newton had a bit of a spat with Wrexham fans after tonight's game.

So it begins!

Had to chuckle when they beat us watching him taunting us after playing like how he supposedly despises.

Constantly makes a fool of himself that lad.

Is that all you have to still cling on to after your own teams terrific end of season "momentum" that you spoke about of 1 win in 8 games, literally handing the title to Cheltenham on a plate with a whimper hahaha.
Don't worry though as you are "head and shoulders" above every other team in this league though so will surely piss the play offs yeah......?

Great second half showing today. Sweeney looked very promising in fairness - I am a bit anxious with the quantity of the academy players coming through, they will be useful players next year. Jury is still out on Tyrone Williams though for me.

Our goal was pure quality, the delivery, the control and the finish was from the top draw and we haven't seen many moments of magic this season so it was welcome. Whitfield absolutely runs his heart out each and every game, I hope he kicks on after our loan spell - not often you see a loanee have that desire at another club, if only some of his colleagues modelled their game on him (looking at you Clarke, Rowe-Turner, Reid....). Fantastic professional.

As good as down after tonight. There is a slim chance that Macc will roll over on the last day if three points would be enough to keep another Northern side in the division. Only a fool would predict anything other than nil points from our next three games.

Go into our game about 50% on for survival, hoping to raise that to like 66%. Lose to a team 0.5% on for survival, looking to raise that to 1%.

I doubt Harvey tells our team to absorb, hoof and absorb again, but whatever he is saying to them has that effect and if it is replicated one more time we are fucked. What makes me crestfallen is that we have worked so hard for four months just to be in with a chance still.

I hope they're still in the dressing room.

Another fantastic post-game interview by Paul Hurst. The guy just oozes enthusiasm.

When we start our League 2 campaign next season I sincerely hope it's not him in the dugout. Very bored of the bloke.

Does he even support a team down here? Genuinely don't think I've ever seen this guy post about something that wasn't related to us or do anything other than like ChrisFGR posts.

Just woke up to Wrexham's sad attempt at the playoffs. I live abroad and haven't been to any games this season. Is their anybody out there that has seen us this season that can put a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel for me. please.

I think that's what Slaphead meant when he said fuck up the play offs, not lose in them but not actually making them.
Pretty sure we will still make them, but not confident about winning them with our track record in them and current form combined.

Correct. I can't believe Grimsby didn't get anything from last night given the quality in their side. Twice this season we've dominated them first half and gone in leading at half time, and twice they've made a change and blown us away scoring 4 goals in the second half. I fully expected the same again. They should have enough, but I was just making the point that their run in, Woking excepted, isn't easy as they will be playing teams who all need something from the game.

99% of this awful squad will be out of the door in the summer. That's a positive isn't it?

When I saw you earlier this season I was very surprised by how far off of a league team you looked... Well, even how far off of Dover, FGR, Grimsby, Braintree etc you looked. Had tough opposition that day and it was only one match so was presuming I caught you on an off day.

Lol.

You seem like a very insecure man / woman. He's right you know. Unfortunately for your wind up attempts we are used to failure here and have been for 15 years but I can't imagine you're taking your failure well seeing as all you do is post about ours. Just like that Bertie guy has nothing better to do seeing as his club is just plain irrelevant.

See you at Wembley :fing:

Thoughts on Barrow Eastleigh guys - sounded like a good end to end game...

Yes it was indeed a great game of football and a fantastic spectacle for both sets of fans.
Both teams played some nice football on the deck and although i felt we were worthy winners over the 95 mins, it really could have gone either way in the last 10 mins with both keepers making outstanding saves at 2-1, with your keeper pulling off at least 3 stunning saves from certain goals & also saving a penalty at the end (the rebound was put away). 65 of your lot made the trip, so fair play to them on a Tuesday night & apart from your 65 experiencing defeat, the crowd of 3,292 will all have went away happy with what they saw. Have always liked the Barrow fans (going back to our 1st round FA Cup away trip a few years back) and it's a shame that games are segregated these days.

I remain astonished that Hurst is still there, he keeps trying to second guess what players will play best against each team rather than just play the best team regularly. He isnt a manager, certainly not for a team thats underachieved so much. Having the leagues leading scorer and the best away numbers by some way and still struggle. Im honestly sad for you cod men .

Still time to go, but almost the worst is for you to get promoted as the rest stumble and have Hurst by default for another season. Hurst doing well in Div2 is a joke.
