Predicted a scrappy game we might steal 1-0 and that’s exactly what happened.

First 10 minutes we looked excellent and I thought we’d cruise to a win. Shrewsbury then absolutely battered us up until half time, we couldn’t string a pass together and they really should have capitalised and scored. They had a strong penalty shout that I thought would have been very harsh but definitely falls into the seen them given category.

We were much better in the second half but still far from decent. A really scrappy goal that Ahadme just about forced over the line, hopefully that will help his confidence.

It still isn’t clicking for us, especially away from home but we have 13 points from 18 so I can’t complaint too much. 4 clean sheets so far. Only 1 to go to equal last season’s tally
Sums up the game. So vital that we go a goal ahead, as I can't see us getting back into games.

Taking off Sagoe Jr seemed an odd move as our most dangerous outlet throughout the game. Was at the other end of the ground so difficult to say on the penalty shout first half. To then take off Castledine as well, and not bring on O'Reilly just didn't make sense. Another week where the opposition keeper hasn't made a meaningful save

Stockport County.
I didn't realise it was the full backs debut Stocky.

We did give them an easy time though. Our wide players were stepping back to receive the ball. Needed a few more balls played between the centre back and full back for the wingers to run onto. As soon as we did that the full backscwere having lots more trouble. Most of the game your 33 had our wide player safely tucked in his pocket.

Who is the number 9 you brought on? Looks bloody dangerous (a threat)

Casey
Tanto Olaofe. Definitley a handful and scored a good number for us last season.

Managed to get off the mark with a hard fought win at Reading, first half I thought we played quite well and ended the half well, could've been further ahead.

After being on the recieving end of two poor goalkeeping errors costing us points, the roles were reveresed today when Readings young keeper on his league debut made one himself when he left Kelmans shot squeeze in underneath him.

Second half we did what we usually do, overplay whenever we got in the final third and Reading as expected came at us and probably on another day get something from the game if it wasn't from a good save from Hemming and alot of last ditch defending, the luck was with us today. Very backs to the wall at the end, but to be expected given we had 0 points.

Brentford away in the cup on Tuesday, our first ever visit to their new ground and we've sold out our 2300 allocation, might be able to enjoy that one a bit more now.

We are night and day better than last season. If bodin was playing we could have nicked that.
Had more possession too.
Still capable of a brain fart at the back sadly and we will gift teams goals all season. But going forward we can score against anyone in this division.
Played 5 and drew 4. We need to turn the screw quickly to move up the table.

Unable to make the game today, but going off general consensus we are still absolutely miles off our best but the fact we’ve picked up 4 points in our last two with some big players out, particularly in the likes of Maris, Baccus and Flint and FBT who will all start if able too.

Lee Gregory is still very good, going strong for 90 minutes absolutely no problem and two really good goals, his general hold up play is so clever and effective and keeping him available is vital for us.

What’s happening to Bolton? Evatt’s post-game interview has more red flags than Ohio State home game.

The fourth goal isn’t even comical, it’s depressing. These boys are so scared to be seen to play anything other than aesthetic football they’ve got their brain’s cooked.

I felt like you were more of an attacking threat than the other teams we played this season, just couldn't get anything on target.

We are also in a position where we are barely making the opposition GK make a save but tend to manage to squeeze one in somehow every week. Based on the season so far, our games are going to be low scoring affairs

Yep, our games really are a tough watch at the moment. I’ve always been firmly in the “Doesn’t matter how you play as long as you win” camp but my word, I just feel the life drain from me whilst watching us.

Sounds like how we were under Kennedy for two seasons!

You take the least amount of shots per game on average, have one of the lowest xG's in the league, mid-table for xGA and also allow a fair few shots on your goal as well so it'll be interesting to see how long it lasts if the numbers remain similar because I'm not sure it's sustainable.

now lost our last 8 v Wycombe. Nothing to see here.
Oh to be in a division where we aren’t playing them and Bristol Rovers.

It almost certainly isn’t.

We need to improve big time, hoping that’ll come in time and think the return of Leaburn will help.

I was quite impressed with Burton, they moved the ball quickly and caught us on the break several times.

I thought we were unlucky not to be a couple of goals in front at half time but second half was Burton's so a draw about right, no complaints really.

Be like a big boxing fight this one tonight. League One greats past and present ringside coked up to the eyeballs.

What's Beckham doing there? Mates with Brady?

I'll be watching it, interesting line ups. I can see Mullin getting pissed off if he isn't playing and Alfie May will have a strop if he's not the main goal scorer...

He's mates with Rob and Ryan (mainly Ryan) He went with them to Wembley for the FA Trophy final a few years ago. Which we lost.

Interesting to see Birmingham playing May in that position, pretty ineffective in there for us.*

Dunno whether to watch tonight, still can’t believe as a club we showed May and Dobson the door.

*Ignore that. The app had it showing as May in the 10.

Anyone else feel nauseous all this celebrity, watching over the pond bollocks?

Only had it on 5 minutes and it’s not even kicked off yet I’m throughly depressed at what’s become of our game.
