Crawley v Mansfield.
A game I can't get to but I have seen us away recently and we've looked fairly good.
We've also had a couple of new players in who haven't had game time yet. Will we see them today?
Palmer has started the season looking interested, and Lubala keeps on scoring, defensively though not quite so good.
2-1 to us with 2100 home fans plus what Mansfield bring.

I’ll be honest if we perform like we have any other game this season we will lose, so big improvement needed to get the win at Crawley.

First league start of the season for Max Wright today, he took the piss out of Macclesfield mid week and almost scored an absolute worldie so he more than deserves his chance.

We have James Perch starting today.

He was suspended for the first three games of the season, first game back he gets a straight red. Serves his ban, first game back straight red. That one was rescinded though as it was a terrible decision. He will most likely end up getting sent off today though

Can see why he shot and it was a great run but he really should have squared it to Hanson who was unmarked on the six yard box with an open goal!!! Just like he did after his great run against Vale.

Still glad he has got his start and let's hope he shows why he deserves it.

Crickey he’s still going! Remember him playing against us for Forest in about 2004!

Yep it would have been the easiest tap in of Hanson's career but I think anybody would've taken the shot themselves after a run like that, especially after beating the last defender as easily as he did. He showed he's capable of getting his head up and passing it against Port Vale, if he can continue to develop that part of his game he can become an absolute terror.

Sounded like we had a poor day and that Jolley probably got it wrong but we managed a point through sheer character and perseverance once again. We are becoming a very hard team to beat.

We were very poor until Cook came on. Just kept playing like normal trying to find Hanson and Oldham stuck two defenders on him and we had no plan B.

Brought Cook on and started playing football through the middle and looked much better, just a shame we conceded as soon as he came on, if we didn't we probably could have won because we were the better side last 15 mins, deserved the point from there, but over the 90 mins we didn't deserve anything.

We lost by a lucky goal but didn’t do enough either, Dempster is clearly not good enough to get this team promoted so it’s just a case of waiting for the sacking now.

We actually won a game, I am in shock. Forgot what this feeling felt like.

I am not going to get carried away though as Morecambe might be the worst team I have ever seen.

Sounded really poor again. We still don't look like scoring.

We won an away game on Saturday - I can hardly believe it.

By all accounts we were very good but Salford were also very poor. A win is a win though and this Cheltenham team are a complete contrast to what we've seen over the past few seasons. Still early days, but a lot of promise - especially as we still have first-teamers set to come back into the side.

He's really got you going, young Mr Duff. Suppose the next thing is keeping him for a season or two to see the benefit before he gets poached by a bigger club.

It would have to be a decent sized club by the looks of things. He only came to us because his wife wanted to move back home. Mickey doesn't have any real roots having been brought up in a military home so moved about a lot as a kid - his wife though has all her family down this way.

Don't get me wrong, for the right money and at the right level, he'd be off like a shot. But I think we're ok for a while yet.

That’s because most sides want to pack their area instead of pressing us, us pinging it around and cutting out half their men.

Tbf, nobody has tried kicking us off the park yet, but with Grant in our side I wouldn’t advise that either!

I also noticed the lack of pressing on my 3rd or 4th watch but they had been outplayed for 75 minutes by that point. Still real quality in the build up play from Isgrove's ball to Keshi's lay off and obviously the perfect finish.
