I said that it was a penalty, but we should have had one too. Rock is incompetent but he is for both sides.

Did they discuss it in the studio? I don't know as I was at the game
I'm more amazed that our players didn't make more of the handball appeals. Think Woods' body hid the contact. Benning should have been screaming for it. It was highlighted at half time.

The tackle on Aitchinson by J Feeney was certainly in the category of seen them given. I'd have wanted it. Seemed possibly a case of evening things up. Don't know if they discussed it after the game, switched off by then.

Unusual to have the same ref for the same game in consecutive seasons. And he still hasn't improved!

Gregory and Cargill are back so not as bad this time round, Baccus and Waine on the bench but not be much use due to coming back from international duty.

Kilgore and Blake Tracy probably only capable of a brief cameo too so bench is lacking quite a bit.

Getting worried about Maris now, should be back by now and still not in the squad at all.

1-0 to County at the Valley, keeper absolutely clatters Powell and Barry puts away the subsequent penalty

At the 12th attempt this season, we've finally scored the first goal.

Tickle with an incredible reaction save to stop us doubling the lead. What is going on?!

Fortuitous to have the lead really because we have very little control over this

3-1 probably flattered us v Posh and certainly on the evidence of the first half it could have gone either way, PUFC pissing the two best chances of that half up the wall.

It took us going behind, and making some subs, to really seal the win.

Our second was a piece of comedic beauty, a slo-mo looping header where it beggars belief how it wasn’t saved - can only assume that the goalie was wrong-footed or unsighted, but either way he looked like he couldn’t believe it went in, and nor could we…and then he fell into the back of the net to max out the comedy value.

We got a third via a pen for handball, didn’t get a view of the supposed offence but the Posh player got a red card, and that killed the game for them.

Plenty of time for things to go tits up, but we’re doing better than I expected, all told.

Frustrating half. Been the better side but really poor defending to give away a penalty, unfortunately Gillesphey always looks a bit of a liability. What looks like a potentially serious injury to Kayne Ramsay too, who is probably our best player

1-0 half time. Mullin scoring after 17seconds. Another brilliant Barnett assist.
They've dominated the ball and their mobility has caused a few problems. They've out a lot of very good balls into the box can't help but think Clarke-Harrisbwould of been on the end of atleast 1.
Refs having a bonkers game. Giving free kicks for fuck all (for both sides) and not giving them for clear fouls. Barnett stand out danger man for us when he gets down the wing can't see us holding out here though

Bolton have been poor again, no chance of going up if Evatt stays in charge. Our defence is a shambles

Pretty miserable game at Sixfields. Northampton are their usual Land Of The Giants hacking it about looking for set pieces and flick-ons. Orient playing plenty of pretty football and unwilling to pull the trigger. All fart, no poo from us as usual. 1-0 defeat incoming, no doubt.

Wow we are just awful. One touch in Huddersfield's box all first half. We are just lumping it and hoping. I cant see any pattern of play, no midfield, total lack of threat...MT is taking us down

85th minute and we're just sitting deep letting them put balls in, not a fan. Ones going too for them drop soon

FT 1-0.
Brilliant win. Good second half, Mullin could barely move late on but his work rate is brilliant.
Rotherham good with the ball. Put some great balls in just didn't have that poacher in the middle.

Rotherham looked decent but never looked like scoring whereas despite not having much of the ball we could have got a second a couple of times.

A satisfying win.

2 points dropped for us, not quite sure how we didn’t win that. Big positive is we are playing a lot better than we had been

Dare I say that was a very straightforward win, could have been 3 or 4 if it hadn’t been for Tickle in goal. Very welcome 3 points and off the bottom to.

Great point for us. But we're a tough watch at the moment. Charlton were much the better side and will be disappointed not to have won.

We offered fuck all after our goal to be honest.

We are gonna piss this tinpot league now etc etc.

But fuck me, lovely feeling having a win, was starting to think I'd forgot how it felt!

Big next two matches at Stevenage and against Burton now, get a few more points and maybe not all is lost. Doing the basics right got us the points today.

Dull old fare at Sixfields. Brady clearly saw we were leaking goals and went very industrial with his selection and game plan and we got a clean sheet. Orient better first half and us better second, and we nicked a winner.

Orient pretty toothless and never felt under pressure even in the last 10. Much needed win.

Yeah you were really bad 1st half, 2nd was a non event really. Decent away numbers considering form/distance and chants of Taylor out could be heard as the game went on.

We were 1 down before we touched the ball and in spite of that we got hold of the game and generally played decent football.
However we wouldn't have scored if we played until midnight.

Had a really decent chat to some life long Wrexham fans in the Spoons before the game and they deserve their moment in the sun after 15 long years in the 5th tier.
The ones coming out of the ground at full time chanting anti-English songs and generally being complete knobs I'm not so keen on.

It's all banter tbh...we've also got a lot of English fans, being so close to the border!

Rothrum fans being very testy saying we're the worst team they've had there so far!
Uhm, but we won, so doesn't say a lot for you does it? It's an away performance typical of us though tbh..let them have the ball and try & hit them on the break...thing is, it was after 17 secs this time.

We defended like a team and give everything tbf. It's Parky's way of amassing the points and it's done OK for us so far I'd say!

We're totally different at home though....

First calls for Rob Elliot to be sacked

I'm a long way away so no real comment apart from we look great between the boxes and crap in them.

The players we have are not good enough to stay in the league so it is a bit unfair to blame the current manager but football has never been fair.

A very good advert for L1 football at San Sincil I thought, not sure it was a 3-1 game though that seemed a little harsh on us. Thankfully our performance wasn't a 'plucky underdog' type performance, which I was concerned about pre-match.

We were pretty brave, setting up with a back four and stepping onto them in a very similar way to how we did in the second half against Orient a couple of weeks ago. One nil up inside a minute from a long throw and we were pretty comfortable and on top until a goal out of nothing. I've not seen it again, perhaps Wickens was flat footed and taken by surprise but either way it was a decent touch and finish.

Second half was much of the same really, Birmingham lots of the ball but not creating much. A disappointing one to concede from the edge of the box, an area we're usually very good at filling, 5 minutes into the second half and that kinda sets the tone for them to keep the ball but we rallied, made subs who made a difference and got a second wind. Missed a penalty (not sure why Hackett took it having been on for one minute and hadn't even touched the ball yet) with 10/15 to go and then they caught us on the break for the third 5 minutes later.

Birmingham clearly a good side in possession but didn't really cause us too many issues in the final third, they were very clinical when those chances arose which I suppose it why you play the top dollars.

Fair play to the Birmingham fan in Upper 7 who got found out. He'd not have known but it's not really the place to be as an undercover away fan, he got absolutely battered.
