I've renewed the old one (28313-8555) so most people should automatically join when registering their side. Want me to transfer the league over to you?

I joined it though I am very slovenly and distracted with these kind of stuff and probably I will forget habitually to update my team.

In. Managed a top 10 finish in 2013/14 but had a disappointing campaign last time round.

I'm in. Just seen they have new boosts in the season. All out attack, allows you to play 2-5-3 one week. Triple points for your captain for one week and bench boost which means for one week you'll get all your benchers points added to your total.

Unbelievable Jeff! (Is my team name)

Got my team sorted. Gonna be a few changes yet til the start of the season. Depay as an £8 mil midfielder will be a snip i reckon.

Finished my team after a lot of tinkering. I've gone all out on the midfield - Hazard, Silva, Mata, Ozil and Ritchie - so not sure about the strength of the rest of my team.

I've done it again but I'll probably lose interest after a couple of weeks....again.

Done my team. Actually stuck with it for the whole duration last year - usually I drop off after about a month and forget to change my team again.

Found it quite useful talking tactics in the old thread on TFF last season, so if anyone is willing to share their team go ahead and do it. I'm much more bothered about the leagues I have a bit of money riding on. Opinions on mine welcome.

Hopeful that Courtois, Henderson, Hazard and Rooney will be season long inclusions. I have £5M in the bank right now and I'll be shipping Pelle out for Aguero as soon as he's ready. Up until today I had the following lineup...

Courtois
Clyne
Koscielny

Azpilicueta
Sinclair
Lens
Hazard
Henderson
Mane
Pelle
Rooney

Subs: McCarthy, Huth, Francis, Sakho

Had to ship the ones in bold out for cheaper options as the aforementioned Aguero plan was gonna cost at least 3 transfers with the above team. Clyne for O'Shea (£5.5M to £4.5M), Koscielny for Bellerin (£6M to £5.5M) and Mane for Mahrez (£8M to £5.5M). Will probably try and get Clyne back in later on in the season, however Sunderland have the best opening fixtures going as opposed to Liverpool who open away at a team that smashed them at the end of last season and go away to The Emirates and Old Trafford in their first five. Would rather have Koscielny in than Bellerin but I needed to squeeze that extra bit out, hopefully Debuchy won't start getting used. Obviously, Mane to Mahrez is a massive drop but again necessary as I really want to be able to bring Ageuro in in a single transfer. Leicester have good opening fixtures though and I think Mahrez will be getting played in the hole behind their striker(s). If any of their lot are reading this and could confirm that would be cool. Also, how likely is an opening day Huth start? If I can figure that out and figure out who will play in goal for Palace (I'm thinking Hennessey will get the nod), then I'm considering playing my bench boost in GW1. Will be looking at switching Sinclair/Mahrez out for Sakho in GWs 2 and 3. Just don't fancy Sakho at Arsenal.

Opinions on £5.5M midfield options, too? Who is the best? Couldn't decide between Ki and Mahrez. Considered Brady too.

So I keep chopping and changing mine

I've decided to go for attacking full backs in my defence this year. Ivanovic just always does well so I had to have him. Cedric Soares looks like a very good signing for Southampton. I think Johnson will restore his reputation a bit at Stoke. It's a good club for him to get his head down at and he is effective going forward whilst they tend to be fairly resolute. Simon Francis and Joel Ward are cheap options. Francis in particular could well nail a fair few assists.

Midfield it was a choice between Hazard and Sanchez but decided on Hazard initially due to the Copa. I fancy Depay to do very well for United in behind the striker, plus he's a free kick specialist. Sterling is one I'm not sure on and I may yet move him out. I just have a gut feeling he may star for City. Redmond is a bit of a wildcard pick but I see him providing most of Norwich's creativity. Mane I may yet move out because although he chips in with a fair few goals for Southampton, he's a little bit pricey at £8 million. I may hunt around for a cheaper alternative to bolster my strikeforce a touch.

Up front I fancy Arsenal to go very well this season so Giroud is an obvious choice initially. Deeney is my cheap option as I see him providing a fair whack of Watford's goals. Sakho I don't really want to be honest and I may well move him out but he was one of the better £6.5 options I could find.

I also really want Ozil in my team as I think he's going to play a starring role this season. Got a day to make some final decisions.

I personally would swap out your substitutes for very cheap players to maximise the value of your XI but I guess that's a tactical thing.

I'd get Berahino in to replace Sakho, Lee. I think he is also 6.5.

Sakho is only on the bench because West Ham are at Arsenal this weekend. Mahrez or Sinclair (5.5 and 5M respectively) would be on the bench otherwise. Huth, Francis and McCarthy are all 4.5M or under. The problem with going super cheap, in the 4-4.5M bracket is that if they don't play, they devalue by 0.1M very quickly which is essentially a 0.5M hit if you want to get rid of them. I might be wrong, but I don't see a single 4M defender nailed on to start the first day of the season. So while I agree that cheap subs are good, I think if you're going down that route you need cheap subs that are starting matches or at the very least coming off the bench.

With regards to Sakho, I have initally gone for him as West Ham play Leicester and Bournemouth at Upton Park in GWs 2 and 3. Berahino, on the other hand, plays against City and Chelsea in GWs 1 and 3. I did also think about going with Deeney and upgrading Mahrez to a 6 or a 6.5M. Francis, like Lee says, is potentially a good choice. Most key passes of any defender in the Championship last season, I think I read. A few similar choices/thoughts to Lee there it seems.

I'd expect Huth to start every game given his impact since joining and the possibility that Ranieri will stick to the 3 at the back that Pearson got them used to. However he's changed to a flat back 4 in the friendly against Birmingham in the second half which saw us get 3 goals back to win so it's anyone's guess how he'll set up. Either way though I'd expect Huth to start. Ranieri has though stated that Morgan will remain captain, so for the same price Morgan might be safer.

Cheers, JJ. Wasn't Morgan a doubt, injury wise, a week or so ago? Is he fully fit now? I might be confusing him with someone else.
