I would happily take Johnstone to replace mad Frankie if I'm honest and Frankie's good.

Which keeper?

In the 4-1 and the 2-0 JPT the goalkeeper was Bobby Olejnik. In the two FA Cup games the goalkeeper was Sam Slocombe and in the 2-0 victory for us at GP the keeper was Luke Daniels.

It would be Slocombe, as i didn't go to the league game at GP.

Slocombe is a really good goalkeeper, it's a real shame he's been injured and will probably leave at the end of the season when his contract expires. He's a Scunthorpe lad and our captain so it will suck to see him go.

Frankie Fielding. Talented, daft as a brush and produced the best save by an opponent at Spotland this season so far.

Last minute - was a cracking save.

Kept our unbeaten run going.

In fairness if i could i would vote Frank Fielding, if he's not the best keeper in this league then someone's on steriods, his 3 amazing saves against Swindon were all spectacular.

There's better keepers in this league than frankie mate. We get to see him every week so there's gonna be bias.

Foderingham and Johnston in particular are better than our frankie. Definitely in the top 5 though, and I'd be more than confident with him between the sticks next season

In fairness i don't go to midweek or away games so TBH i don't get to see all the keepers in this league. Hopefully i can watch more games next season :)

Can we just move along onto the centre-backs? I'll concede Swindon have that one, Byrne is going to win it by a landslide.

Is Byrne a centre-back? I thought he was a full-back...

Sadly I don't think it's quite as clear cut as that and I know of at least one other RB who will get plenty of votes.

That's what I meant, skip RB, agree it's Byrne and get on to who we're voting goes in with Flint as the two best centre-backs.

In fairness Bryne probably is the best RB, Little hasn't done that well at times this season.

My vote in this is a pretty simple one. as much as I was impressed with Carroll's performance against us for Notts, the one I'm going for is Sam Slocombe due to 2 great showings for Scunthorpe in the FA Cup ties.
