Fancy getting to kick off day without a match fred, shameful!

We're pulling a Carlisle and are walking wounded, have no clue what sort of defence we're gonna put out today if Sterry is missing again we might be jiggered, need a win today, really can't afford another fuck up, hopefully we signed 8 players overnight and gonna spring a surprise to everyone.

If the defence is anything like the one that finished the game vs Mansfield then we will be in big trouble

A chance to get a double over those pesky wombles and prove South-West London is Amber and Chocolate.

Wimbledon haven’t lost in the league since the reverse fixture between the sides, and we’ve won 4 of our last 6.

A sold out Gander Green Lane is in for a potential treat but it’ll probably be a cagey affair

It's an interesting one. We've not conceded a goal from open play - league matches only - since Harrogate at the end of October.

I have to work but iFollow is fired up and ready to go.

COYD!

Either of you wanna take a stab at the defence today? Assuming Sterry and Murray are out..

Tumility, Stephenson, Menayese, Ferguson, Paterson (shudder) looks the most, er.. viable?

Or hoik Paterson completely and stick Ferguson LB and Shelton CB.

Not looking great is it.

Why don't we try Wes McDonald at centre half we could call him The Stepover Sweeper.

FWIW I doubt we'll see Paterson again (never trust a man called Brody) and I reckon Murray will play. He might well go with a back 4 if Murray is fit

Tumilty, Murray, Rollin, Ferguson. If he's not fit then well fuck knows and God help us.

Think it was a sign Paterson was done when Missilou a right footed CM came on LB vs Mansfield when he was sat on the bench

Looking for our third win on the bounce at Donny today. Haven't managed three in a row all season thus far.

Added another couple to the injury list at Crewe on Thursday, so we head into this down to the bare bones...

Another pasting today and things might get nasty, but I do have a sneaky suspicion we’ll at least turn up.

Was worried that this virus that hit the squad over Xmas might have taken a few more casualties, there's only one change though: Joe Lewis in for Fraser Horsfall who got injured at at the end of Thursday's game. He's a huge loss, but at least Lewis has looked decent in the middle of a back 3 when called upon before.

Stockport County.
Always Grimsby's cup final this. They've been on holiday since they beat us in October and have spent the whole time preparing for this.

With our injuries and their game raising, I'd take a point.

Horsfall out is a huge blow.

Not sure I agree with the Lewis is good in the centre narrative. He’s much better than the horrific performances at RCB but I still don’t trust him.

It's not a narrative, it's exactly what I saw in the games he played there at Harrogate and home to Swindon.

Johnson injured in the warm-up & having to put a kid on the bench. Going to be a difficult start to the year.

After 2 good wins over the festive period, New Year starts at Crewe. We've not had a great record at whatever Gresty Road's called now and also had a couple of poor results on recent January 1st fixtures. Rovers revert to Nevitt up front, Mumbongo played about an hour in the last couple of games though not fully fit drops to the bench. Nevitt can't drag players towards him in the same way creating space for Hemmings. Although it's a good time to play an out of form Crewe, unsure we'll take full advantage.

Multiple players playing through illness as well as the six missing and it’s showing. Grimsby well on top and we’re well off it.

Having dominated the opening half hour without finishing, a defensive mistake is clinically finished by Crewe. The home side’s tails have gone up as a result. One of those days?

GET IN, 1-0 Town. Missed most the first half but seems like it's been decent match so far, good pace to it.

Nothing to do with Stockport though, it's all about your man DC.

Also seemed like you lot were quite into it last season during the FA Trophy when you were singing "Grimsby get battered everywhere they go"
