With the run of games we have if we keep playing like this that cushion is going to evaporate very quickly. Pretty much all against those in and around us.

We had an extra days rest on them, a big thing this season given the schedule yet its us who look knackered.

Getting worse. And its not as if Luton are actually having a go in this run of form. They are playing a Mourinho brand of football and still in reverse.

I have been really disappointed in KDH in recent weeks - a lot of teams have worked out that he hasn't got a right foot. I dare say Rea needs to come on to give us defensive protection.

So far the bottom three manage to keep losing too. But if that changes......

This is the thing for me our momentum is all negative at the moment and we have been trending downward for a little while now. Got to do something to arrest that, thought it might be the injection of a few new faces but on todays showing people are going to, rightly call for the likes of Rea etc back. Is that going to move us forward again? I am not sure and it begins to look like you are scratching around for ideas to get momentum back and you can quickly get in a tailspin.

Agree on KDH as well - I think he is knackered personally as hes been relied on too heavily to be the creative force for us. You shut him down there is no one else.

If we get something here it might be that momentum changer we needed. BIG, BIG IF though!

Wonder how blue the air was in the changing room at half time with NJ and Mick!

Hutchinson was screening the defence for Sheff is really struggling in this half. He was the reason we didn't get a sniff first half.

AMAZING RESULT. No one saw that coming. We were dead and should've been - those chances Windass missed first half... wow.

Unbelievable. Night and day difference between first and second half - would love to have seen what went on at half time as we had so much more aggression about us after it. Can only imagine what NJ was like. We got absolutely mullered first half and Wednesday could easily have had 1 or 2 more. Got our press right and just completely blew them away second half.

Adebayo absolutely brilliant that second half. Totally bullied the Wednesday defence, looks a real real find.

Performance (half) and the result. A defeat could have destroyed our mentality. That second half could make it and give us the chance to kick on and build a stronger base and confidence. Table looks very healthy again.

One of those days where football makes you all warm and fuzzy inside. Sheff Weds fans will be beside themselves. That game should have been dead and buried at halftime.

Pretty crazy. Id had a really bad week this week for a few reasons and the Millwall equaliser massively pissed me off. Floating on air at this one - silly thing really 'innit.

Another defeat for Swansea to show that games in hand only mean anything if you make them count, and that points on the board are king. Watford losing to Bournemouth and having someone sent off is a nice bonus as well, though of course Brentford went on to win again. Still, if we win tomorrow, that gives us our seven-point cushion back before the game against Brentford in midweek.

Just need Barnsley and/or Cardiff to pick up some more points and push Bournemouth out of the play-offs again, and I'll be pretty happy with the state of the top six overall.

While KDH is better i thought Izzy caused us a few problems first half sitting in front of the midfield, he had too much time and space and slotted three or four one on one's or breakaways. Rae ruffled him second half and his head was gone.

That was a big part of our poor first half showing. Rea gets a lot of stick, and to be fair hasn’t exactly been great of late especially with the ball, but that first half was exactly why he’s so trusted by NJ. He gives structure, he protects that middle for the pitch and the centre halves. If it moves or tries to get passes him in that area he’s kicking it basically, no frills just the basics.

Morrell who everyone has been calling for to replace him and to be fair had a decent showing midweek, had a total shocker out of possession and not for the first time this season in limited appearances. When you are getting done physically by Izzy Brown of all people you’ve got big problems. I really worry he doesn’t have the physical qualities needed for championship games as a starter. It’s going to take him a long time to gain NJs trust after that I’d bet.

What is it about past loanees and players that come back to the kenny “hoping to get one over us?”Most should be grateful of the chance we gave them to raise their profiles and resurrect stalling careers
