ok, well yeah.

We've far from won the game, but your lot don't look up for the battle on the evidence of the first half.

Our commentators were saying how badly you were marking Tafazolli from corners (Evans was his marker), I mean it took us 4 or 5 corners to score, but it's not like you didn't get a warning.

I don't think you've got enough bite in your midfield either from the game so far, we've got 50% possession (which never happens, we're lucky if we make it to 30) and we're actually picking passes in midfield rather than hoofing, which indicates to me you definitely need a spoiler in there to stop us doing that.

Anyway, plenty of time left for us to choke and screw it up, we'll see.
Told you, these guys would go down if it wasn't for the early season away form, they're all shit and don't give a fuck.

well, you looked a lot better second half, I don't know if you rested players from the starting XI cos it was only us, but your passing was way better and you were creating a lot more after the triple HT sub.

Anyway. We've officially passed The Shittest Championship Points Tally Ever™ - woohoo! My dream is maybe to hit the dizzying heights of perhaps 5th or 6th lowest. It's good to have a goal in life.

Well to survive at Luton he is gonna need to be more adaptable. The full backs roles change so much game to game with Jones new systems he likes to implement and chop and change. No room to be just one or the other.

Still think you kept us at arm's length quite comfortably.

Shit players, a manager who wants out and holiday mode is a bad recipe.

Huge summer ahead for us, could see build a good base for the future, or see us drop like when we appointed Darren Ferguson and had a big squad overhaul.

It's a shame you can't play us every week.

Im not normally one to talk about “pashun” and all that stuff but he just comes across as just not wanting it enough to me. There was a moment in the first half today where he had a shoulder to shoulder with the Swansea fullback and he just totally bottled it. And I was thinking “yep that’s James Bree”.

An unchanged XI for us today as we take on Sheffield Wednesday. Games like this always have the potential to be a banana skin, but I'm pretty confident we can go and claim another three points here.

EDIT: And there's the banana peel, only 7 minutes in. Of course Rhodes would be the one to score it, too. It's getting worse by the minute too, lots of players putting in performances well below par so far. Seriously need to be bucking our ideas up here.

Abysmal first half performance. Created absolutely nothing, sloppy all over the park and not even coming close to matching Wednesday's workrate. Too many players performing poorly and barely look bothered, and we're making Darren Moore look like a tactical genius in the managerial dugout.

The hairdryer treatment (and probably a sub or two) needed at half-time to change things up, as this is nowhere near good enough currently.

EDIT: Much better second half performance to secure another win, Dowell impressing off the bench and really giving us that extra little bit of attacking impetus to break through the stubborn Wednesday back line.

Coventry at home for us tomorrow night. They have had 10 days to prepare for this, a rare treat at this stage of the season, which has the potential to play a big role. Think the extra rest we had on Swansea at the weekend was a big factor in us being able to play so well, so be interesting to see if Coventry can use that advantage. Having said that we shouldnt exactly be exhausted.

Big game for the both of us, although probably more so for Coventry. Probably one they have highlighted for a while as a winnable fixture, and the first of 3 they have coming up that could be described as such. We are well on course to being above it, probably needing a couple more wins to be sure, but you dont want to be losing to those below you at this stage of the season as things can tighten up quickly.

Be interesting to see how we shape up, definitely a view to keep it as is from the weekend given we played so well albeit in defeat and given thats the similar shape to what Coventry usually play I can see that being our approach. Potts injury apparently not as bad as feared so hopefully he can play. Lockyer been called up by Wales today so hopefully that signifies he is approaching fitness too which would be a boost.

So Preston have refused to agree to move our post-international break fixture with them to Easter Saturday, meaning that we are likely to be without several first team players due to their likely involvement in internationals on the Wednesday night. At the very least, we'd likely end up without Hanley, McLean, Giannoulis, Aarons, Skipp and Placheta as they'll almost certainly be involved and it'll be a big ask to get them back in the country, get the needed negative test results and give them a chance to rest before playing on Good Friday.

It's a pretty stupid situation again, but not of our own making this time like it was against Luton in the League Cup at the start of the season. Don't suppose you can blame Preston for refusing to move the fixture, as it gives them the best possible chance of getting something out of the game against what will be a depleted side for us, but on the flipside we'll just have to make do for that one game as it shouldn't have too much of an impact in the grand scheme of things.

Preston have little to play for so may just be thinking of their player welfare and additional rest it gains them for the final hectic stage of the season.

Prob helps you too tbh as the titles virtually locked up so;

1. Run out for better second string plyrs to see what they got to earn a squad spot in Prem.
2. additional rest for your better players returning who dont really need another game

Coventry later. Interesting game for us. Important for them. Similar records but we have turned a few of our draws into wins that has us more comfortable. Cov will be trying to emulate us and stay in the League to consolidate.

Neither teams have scored to s and both have let in a few. Not sure what to expect but hope we go for them but certainly not expecting a win or an easy game. Nice to not be sweating it as a must win

Expecting a very dull game later, most likely either 0-0 or 1-0 to either side. I imagine Robins will set up conservatively seeing as we're away from home and haven't played in a while. Would probably take a point tonight, but would then need to get all three against Wycombe on Saturday. 6 points from these next two games and we're as good as safe in my eyes, would likely only need another 3-4 point from our remaining games with only Bournemouth, Millwall and Barnsley left to play from the current top 10.

Got a feeling it could go a similar way as the reverse fixture which was a tight, pretty low quality game of not many, if any, chances. Two teams who marched up and cancelled each other out.

As usual I was wrong on my ore match assessment. Very open game and both sides should probably have scored! Already more entertainment in this than the reverse fixture

Been a bit of a frenetic game, both sides had some really good chances but weve been the side who have managed to get the goals and Coventry will regret some bad misses by Biamou. In possession I think we have continued from the Swansea and looked a real threat, but the back 3 of Pearson/Rea/Naismith really showing they havent played a great deal together as some real miscommunication lead to a couple of real good chances from the Coventry point of view.

Key thing for us is getting our noses in front and did that with Bree. Good bit of play by Clark who just seems to be getting better and better at the moment, eventually lead to Bree finishing back stick. Bad keeping really I thought, Bree controlled the shot well but surely the keeper should save it.

Feel for Harry Cornick, just doesnt feel like he is going to score this season, now been denied by his shot being handled off the line!!! Think he is has probably ticked off every type of miss you can think of now. Again the keeper not covering himself in glory. Adebayo scoring the penalty makes him our second top scorer with 3 goals, which tells you a lot about us this season, so i wouldnt be too concerned about it getting to 4 or 5-0 to be honest.

I don't think Coventry have been too bad going forward, but have been terrible defensively. They remind me of us last season.

Yep pretty good comparison, especially us early last season where we regularly got complimented for our play having just lost! We sacrificed a bit of creativity for defensive solidity this season. Even with 10 they’ve still been lively.

Good 2-0 win in the end for us. Keeper made up for his pretty poor first half by making some good saves in the second but was over after the red card and penalty really. Argument to be made to let that go in and keep 11 men as I think Coventry were causing problems!

Coventry had some good chances at 0-0 but we managed to get ourselves. Good to be on the other end of one of those!

Think the prediction of 4/5-0 would have been pretty accurate with some calmer finishing from Luton, utterly shambolic from us. Horrendous at the back and barely threatened the Luton net at the other end aside from the hit post early on. Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think Sluga made a save all night.
