Another awful draw for us. Away at Tamworth. Why do we always get drawn against a side in our league?!

Gainsborough v Boston, Flyde v Stockport stick out.
As for Shocks Hook Norton v Weston Supermare stands out

Great chance for Basford/Sporting Khalsa and Bronchurst/AFC Porchester to get through

It's an OK draw for us, Leek Town would be a new place to go, but someone at our level doing pretty well in their league. Deeping are a step 5 UCL side, and we pretty much know what we're getting there. Would have far preferred to be the home team here though! Draw suggests Alfreton might have been in the same region as us for this round!

Bishop's Stortford away. The very definition of a dull draw. And they'd be right and correct to say the same thing

Home to Oadby :brill:
Darksithlord - I feel very sorry for you.

Oadby are a weird club, but in hindsight nice enough. They were spending some money (and claiming they weren't) plus some local connections to challenge us for promotion from UCL Div 1. They missed out and gave it a bit of heavy baiting the season after they came up to the UCL Prem, before being a poor to average side in the higher division.

Both seasons we were in the same division we lost at their place before going on to be unbeaten for the rest of the season and securing promotion. I'd recommend going to a replay and losing... ;)

Yep - that's dullsville. We've got Phoenix Sports away - not quite as familiar as Stortford/Sutton, but still the same blinking division and therfore a bit of a let-down. But at least it gives us a reasonable chance of some more dosh before we bow out to Billericay or ETU (whom we habitually draw in cups) in the 3Q.

Back to the UCL it is for us.

We should know better than to underestimate Deeping who are normally an upper end of the UCL team. They are capable on their day, and so far we've not performed in the FA Cup, but got results. I'd take that now of course, but I'd like to see us step it up a gear and start to show what we've got a bit more.

We're through with a routine 3-0 win, nice and easy. Injury to one of our best players won't help though.

This equals our best progress in terms of the round we have gotten to, one game short of the number of fixtures won in the cup as we came in a round later. The draw is going to be huge for deciding if we can go one better or not.

Anyone at home please, we've been away the entire time so far!

Trinity beat Boston 2-0.

The latter aren't a happy bunch so far this season.

Tamworth 2-3 Alfreton

Well blow me down a feather WHAT a Game! The magic of the FA was truly alive today as Alfreton Come from 2-0 down with 15 minutes to play to unbelievably triumph 3-2!

For the first 25 Minutes or so it was all Alfreton as we won a long series of Freekicks, Corners and Long Throws but failed to real create a single thing. Tamworth then awoke won a corner which was played short to Durrelll who find the bottom corner to give them the lead after a wicked deflection.
That was HT and Tamworth lead 1-0.

Tamworth then came out for the second half and took control of the game and played us off the park for 30 minutes but missed a wealth of chance but finally doubled their lead through Newtons header on 75 Minutes

Then Nicky threw on, Thanoj, Jackson and Johnson in desperation! And what a move it turn out to be!

Immediately Thanoj played Jackson through and he fired it home to make it 2-1 with 13 Minutes left.
Then on 89 Newton was ajudged to have handled in the area for a Penalty which Jordan slotted home to level the scores!
But that was not the end of the drama as Naill Heaton rampaged down the right and fed Super Sub John Johnston who unleashed a thunderbolt into the bottom corner to win it for the Reds!! He then got caught in the moment and went in two footed second after the restart to be sent off which took some gloss of the game but never the less what a comeback!

So somehow we are in Mondays Third Round draw! A Home Game Please against someone in a different league!

Won 3-1 against Oadby, with 3 goals in the last 15 minutes for the Moors. Oadby's time wasting was ridiculous, every time one of their players was fouled, he would go to the floor and then take a good few minutes for the physio to give treatment, and then for the game to could finally continue.
A frustrating game, but into the next round :2thumb:

Last time we were here there were 3 regions at this round, roughly equating to NE, NW, SE, SW. We were in the SE region, with the away draw at Dover. We are obviously in a position where we could be in multiple regions, so we will have to wait and see. It would be a nightmare to have to play Kettering, who are obviously very likely to be in the same region.

Great to see Dartford knocked out and a pitiful crowd after them bleating on for ages about how their crowds are so much better than ours blah blah blah. Bellends.

Chelmsford 0-0 Ebbsfleet. Crowd: 832 (I think). About 250-300 or so away.

Game of two halves, with neither side really threatening the goal when in control. Best chance was, I believe, Jordan Parkes' header being brilliantly tipped wide by Adam Bogdan in goal.

We made 5 changes and it was the spine of our side replaced! Hall (GK), Bonner, Stuart Lewis, Godden and Kedwell! I think that's all the changes anyway... All replaced with players more than capable to step up, but with very little game time - and it showed!

We go again on Tuesday... I'm confident. Just hope we don't get any injuries before the game against Maidstone on Saturday. Hope we smash the BBB twats (no offence to their sound posters on here).

We're through with a 2-0 win away at Bishop's Stortford.

Hilariously carshalton lost 5-0 at home to East Thurrock. And Kingstonian lost 2-0 away at Dunstable

How on earth did Chelmsford manage to snaffle Liverpool's 2nd choice keeper?!

Another extremely boring and frustrating draw for us away at at a fellow national North side Again in Hednesford Town.

We have already beaten they 4-0 in the league so its winnable tie. Just frustrating.

Hemel away. Great. For the 3rd season in a row we've drawn them in an FA competition. Oh, and we have them on Saturday in the league. Fun times abound!

Ashton United at home. Could be better, could be worse. At least we have home advantage. First time we are facing someone in a higher division in this season's FA Cup, and thankfully it's step 3 rather than 2 for now.

A quick look says that they haven't started their season particularly well, and they have knocked out step 6 side Guisborough Town after a replay and step 5 Abbey Hey, though they did win that game 5-0 away!

I'm partially just glad to have a home draw! It won't be easy, but you don't expect easy in the FA Cup when you've won 3 games in the competition already.

Definitely looks like him!

So if we beat Chelmsford tomorrow we have Basingstoke away. Fucking terrific. People really do hate us don't they!?
