Alfreton's shirt is classy, the back of the Halifax shirt is the most tinpot thing I've ever seen.
I don't like to pick holes in anything, and have already mentioned that I like their new away top, but....don't let a grammar Nazi anywhere near that shirt!

Shaymen till we die....or maybe....Shayman till I die...but what if you are female, not very inclusive is it!

We've had it on the back of pretty much every shirt since we reformed.

Not a fan personally, but quite a lot seem to like it :dk:

The transline thing on the back of our shirts can't be to scale surely? Where will the players' names go?

I am of the thinking that the logo's on the bottom of the shirts were ok for the first couple of seasons whilst the reformed club was in it's infancy but do now look a bit sad (the away ones used to say 'alive and kicking'!!). If it was in smaller, smarter font and along the neck or something it would be better.

And here it is...

Bottle of Hooch and the Lidl in the background, sooooo tempted to put this in the tinpot thread.

A cruiseship caberet band somewhere is missing it's backing singers.

Didnt vote for that one myself. It was my second fav behind "Royal".

Well it certainly makes a "Impact" does it?:cool1:

Feel free to add it to the tinpot thread. A group of girls showcasing themselves outside a bar with a bottle of booze in the hand? Fine by me!

This was my second choice too I believe. One of the stripey one(not 'original', the other) was my first choice I think. However, the white away shirt doesn't look the same as it did when it was originally designed 'on paper'. It looks like there's no grey on the front for a start.

By the way, that Halifax away shirt is way better than the home one. I know which one I'd buy if I were a Shayman.

Still, 49 quid is a lot of money for a football shirt, and I imagine the fans aren't happy about it.

Our new kits will have an official launch on Saturday 27th, but season ticket holders will be able to go to a pre-launch event and see them before then and buy it at a lower rate.

Also there's going to be something called the Errea Truck.

Tranmere's new kit is getting mocked all over twitter by a load of spoof/parody accounts. It is a tinpot looking kit, but didn't think it was quite THAT bad.

What are they saying? Can't see anything on there. It's far from the worst kit I've seen for 2015/16.

Tranmere Rovers kit for the 2015/16 season is the most Non-League kit you will ever see. Carbrini AND Home Bargains.

How have i only just seen this?! Tranmere with the most 'Non-League' kit of all-time..

Yolo Toure ‏@Janso95 Jun 13
Tranmere have basically summed up their area in their new kit haven't they

Tranmere have gone full PES kit here.

Don't see what's funny about that shirt, I like it. Proper 70's. I take it they haven't seen our shirt yet, now that's what I call terrible.

That's not too bad IMO.

Tranmeres kit isn't helped with having home bargain as the sponsor, and it doesn't really work with the feel of the kit to me. If Wirral council was still the sponsor it would look marginally better

The Tranmere kit looks a bit plastic shopping bagesque to me. Stick any of last seasons under performers in one and you'd have a bag full of shi7e.
Not the worst kit or sponsor we've had though. Home bargains is certainly a better sponsor than Hugh Follerton Cutlery.

That shirt is an absolute shambles, because it looks like the club was trying to appease all of it's fan base. The ones who want stripes, those who want a sash, those who like a simple amber shirt with a black stripe on the shoulder and those who prefer quarters. Tragic.

That Tranmere kit isn't even bad.. Twitter is just full of PL goons who don't realise it's a historic kit.

If it was a Man U kit they'd all be wanking themselves off.

If it was Man U they wouldn't be sponsored by Home Bargains...

Just because the logo is turquoise and red, it stands out like a sore thumb. However, as a company they are local, successful (over £1 BILLION turnover last year) and most importantly, aren't some rip off loan company, gambling firm or banking muppets who are only in it for themselves. Laugh all you want, but I'm almost certain that most teams below Championship level would be more than happy to be associated with a company as successful as they are.

I like the kit and I'm not bothered about the banter. Call it what you want, but at least it's unique and distinctive. That's the most important thing at the end of the day.

If it was Man Utd most of us on here probably wouldn't give a toss anyway!

Watching the England game last week the Slovenia kit sort of reminded me of the Tranmere kit, with green and blue stripes on a largely white background, although in their case the stripes presumably represented mountains...hopefully the straight down stripes of Tranmere won't represent the direction in which they are headed!

I'm not a great fan of the new Rovers shirt. The design itself is ok, but clashes with the Home Bargains logo. Although that has been reported on one of our forums as coming off very easily, always an indicator of a tinpot shirt.

Waiting to see what our away shirt is like, but rumoured to be black. If so, unlikely to buy that either.

I agree with Belmont that Home Bargains are a good sponsor to have, one of the directors is a Rovers fan apparently. Just wish that more attention was given to integrating their logo with the kit design.

Aside from those kits already mentioned on here, I quite like the new Barrow home shirt.

A black away shirt wouldn't be too bad, at least the colour clash with the sponsor would be to a minimum.
