Hey, can't fault his logic. Staying at Alfreton is the definition of going nowhere!

Cant disagree with that. i wouldnt begrudge Dan a move at all. He is a lovely lad, genuinely cares for the club and is incredibly loyal. Cant fault him. Think for the good of his career though he should move on.

We have played crap on our last two trips to Gainsborough. We managed to buck that trend for 45 mins last night. Fecking woeful second half the shite football on offer managed to make Adam Quinn look like Fabio Cannavaro. Kiel O'Brien is a chuffing liability. First Southport send us Danny Hattersley and now this useless lump, they are making mugs of us.

Opposition fans warned us that watching Heath's football wouldn't be pretty but effective. Pre-season seemed to quash those fears. We have now lost the effectiveness. One of the trinity fans shouted out last night "it's just like watching Ferriby". Well looking at the league table i would have to strongly disagree. We are only 3 points off the play-offs but our defence is leakier than a split condom and our go to response when behind is go long to Denton. Uttterly depressing stuff last night especially when we showed that we can cause teams problems when we put it on the floor.
Really?! Keil was class for us back in the day, but he's been ravaged with injuries since

class win last night, missed ANOTHER penalty. But it doesn't matter, 'cos Walkers on fire! 1st half they were a very dirty team, until Garry Neville sorted em out at half time. Anthony Johnstone was sent off after he hit Jansen, then afterwards pushed a fan who said 'whats the score' and tried to start a fight with him, have a bit of class!

Even 10k would pay for somebody for 30 weeks or so until the end of the season....
As long as their revival doesn't start until after we've won there next Saturday

Boston 3-2 Alfreton
Absolute sickner for us apparently. Robbed by a utter joke of a decision by a linesman who flagged for a penalty in the 90th minute before a good header from Smith won it for Boston in the 93rd. Daylight Robbery.

12 visits to Boston and still to taste victory. Absolute graveyard for us.
Think it's 5 in a row for us now all by a single goal... listened on radio, which cut out before the winner. They said it was never a pen, Dad said it looked stonewall from the main stand, seen it, definitely soft but reckon he caught him.... What I'd be worried at is how Cameron Johnson of all people skinned a defender to get into that position to start with- he's useless!!!

From the frying pan into another frying pan? He looked OK in his first game for Alty, scored after 35 seconds!

Scores on his BPA debut - we'll be bottom if things stay as they are!

Hang on, Darlo 2-1 up now

He looked unfit and overweight for us, and nowhere near the required standard (like most of our players this season). It speaks volumes that we've loaned him out and brought in two other centre-halfs on loan instead!

Therein lies the problem, Keil came back to Chorley on loan towards the end of last season, clearly not match fit, he suffered a hamstring injury. Saw him in pre-season playing for Southport at Chorley, he looked two stones overweight and a shadow of the player he had been. Clearly lot of work needed to get back to where he should be.

Good win at BPA, allowing for bit of an injury crisis. Kid on loan from Newcastle in goal, no Turnbull, no Gillies, no Burgess. Corner from Galbraith goes straight in for winner, after Liam Hardy comes off bench to equalise. Still unbeaten away.

There's still 93 points for them to play for.

Sorry pal but are you illiterate or something? The thread title's clearly states North so I don't know what you're doing here, unless you're stalking DSL. OTOH, if you're only checking out the thread for next year you should head over to the South one, as that's where the FA will dump your lot I'd think. Not that I think you're going down but still.

Don't bother asking me what I'm doing here, you know the answer already.

So this forum finally gets rid of you. You then see my perfectly reasonable reply to 'DarkSithLord'. You take 24 hours to think of a reply. And this, THIS is what you came up with?

The state of it. :fl:

I see Altrincham have re-signed Greg Wilkinson. I reckon he can't have played any more than 30 competitive games in the past 2.5 seasons, but he's "fully fit" now. I shall reserve judgement on this.

We've signed Josh Falkringham on a free follow his release from Dumbarton last season. No idea about him tbh but as always look forward to see a new signing in a Darlo shirt.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Huge news for Curzon this week is their captain last season Alex Brown who retired in summer to focus on work has come out of retirement and signed up for season........said his circumstances changed so he had time to play, but think maybe the slump tempted him back to help out.

Its certainly boosted morale on the forum and at club, not seen him much to comment, but sounds like a return of a key player. If he gets into form and we get back Daniel Shaw from injury......its 2 decent conf north addition.

Really need a cup run though.

Long-term injured, hasn't kicked a ball for us competitively. I think he's done his ACL and is going to be out for the season.
Shame, don't know why Morecambe released him, he was getting first team game time and was really promising
