I am glad they are out........sod em.

Another terrible and ignorant peice in bbc today with Scholes saying the 500 they took to Stockport is pretty much more than any other fl club could muster and that someone like Oldham would do well to take 250 to Stockport

I'm pretty sure Scholes must know he's talking nonsense there. Like every other article about Salford it's an advertorial for a non-league football club aimed at Manchester United fans, so he can pretty much come out with any old claptrap and the intended audience dont know enough about football outside the PL to pick up on it.

And totally patronising saying that all other non-league clubs are jealous for no reason - I really can't see much difference between what they've done at Salford to what happened with MK Dons, except that there was a club available in the area that they wanted to be based.

Probably talking bollocks but considering we took more this season on a Tuesday night it's ignorant

The whole 'everyone is jealous of us' is just another continuation of the Manchester United mentality. Since United have been transformed into a club that functions first and foremost as a commercial venture the standard retort to anyone who suggests that it must suck to lose all the good things associated with being a supporter that transformation inevitably entails is that they are just jealous. Now that Salford City are being transformed into some weird non-league/lower-league Manchester United franchise the retort will be exactly the same. It's a pretty useful way of ensuring idiots remain loyal to a brand when the experience itself as most supporters would judge it is actually pretty shit.

What a boring, uninspiring design.
Tend to agree with you there. They have an opportunity to create something that is aesthetically pleasing and a great place to watch football, yet they go for an identikit lower league design with the only way to differentiate being the colour of the seats and the badges.

Can i laugh that Salford didn't win again and their horrible run continues

Looking absolutely bleak for Stalybridge and BPA......they are 9 and 7 points adrift and both lost today meaning others also have game in hand, cannot see either staying up its who goes with them.

We go to Bower Fold to play Stalybridge next. Must win. Simple as. Biggest game since Relegation back to this level for us.

As far as im aware we had a offer accepted last week for Elliot Whitehouse, but he had big wage demands which not even Rowe is on right now. So that deal fell flat.

So he scores against us today. So I can see a bid again on its way monday morning. Knowing fylde. Like I said thats what ive heard this end anyway.

A good win but again a poor performance but rescued once again by Mr Rowe. Fair pkay to Nuneaton played some good football and made it difficult.

Strange game today. For long periods not that exciting yet ended in a 5-2 win. We were poor defensively, especially first half, but Gray's substitutions made the difference. Nathan Cartman showed why he should start, and new signing Dave Syers looked like he will be a great aquisition during his 25 min appearance, winning a penalty and scoring the fifth. Up to second, which is astonishing when I think where we were 4 years ago.

Delighted to not only get a win away at Bradford but to put three past them. We have a very poor record at the Horsfall Stadium so it was great to get a result, up to third now, the Xmas/NewYear double header vs AFC £ylde is looking really tasty now.

We had the xmas/new year double header with them 2 years ago - they won both games - we won the league though :) so the games are important but not the be all and end all.

Got a 3-3 draw at $alford. Decent point although we had the lead twice, then had to salvage a late point. We had 3 or 4 decent efforts and scored 3. Our keeper made a couple of excellent saves and there were a few close shaves but thought our effort warranted something, even if they'll feel they did enough to win.

Class performance on Saturday, some terrific goals and still look solid at the back, Adam Blakeman is absolutely amazing!

Yes BigDave, the game is well advertised on Chorley website and local social media, unfortunately I will miss this one as am away, just hope we perform better than last season at your place when the word "dire" springs to mind. Congrats on the great cup run, hope your minds are still on it on Monday.

We've brought in highly rated right-sided attacker James Hooper on loan from Rochdale.

With Amis misfiring and Marsden out of form and out of the team, we badly needed an extra attacking option on the opposite side to Lloyd.

There is a surprise. Much traveled former Hyde striker Scott Spencer has left Stockport and signed for Stalybridge Celtic ahead of Saturday.

Certainly a decent signing but I must question Spencers ambitions.

Saturday against Stalybridge is huge for us. 3 points and we could be 9 clear of the drop, a loss and could be just 3. Hopefully the lads wont be distracted by Newport and have their attention on the job. The win will come if we get the basics done.

Eye catching signing for Curzon - Vanarama National League North club Curzon Ashton have signed former Liverpool forward Adam Morgan.

The 22-year-old has a particularly strong background and played in three games during Liverpool’s Europa League campaign in 2012/13 under Brendan Rodgers.

He came on for Fabio Borini against Hearts in a 1-0 away win and was then in the starting line-up for the return leg when he was unlucky to have a goal disallowed.

He also played 61 minutes in a group match against Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.

Morgan, who came through the Anfield academy, went on Liverpool’s pre-season tour to USA at the start of that season and scored in a win against Toronto, with an assist from Raheem Stirling, and also started in the match against Tottenham Hotspur.

On the international front he has won seventeen caps for the England under-17s side and played in the 2011 UEFA Under-17 World Cup in Mexico where he scored against Canada and also netted in a penalty shoot-out win over Argentina before England lost to Germany in the quarter-finals.

He has also won five caps for the England under-19`s, alongside Liverpool club mate Stirling.

Liverpool sent him out on loan to Rotherham, where he later signed, and since then he has had spells with Yeovil Town, St Johnstone in the Scottish Premier, making his debut against Celtic, and Accrington Stanley.

In March 2016 he signed for Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division North side Colwyn Bay

He basically retired in the summer before deciding to train with us after his best mate, Michael Clarke who we signed from Northwich, told him how much he was enjoying it at County.

He has come off the bench and scored a couple of quality goals but he needs to get some match fitness under his belt. I can't see him and Dickinson being a particularly effective partnership unfortunately.

All that hyperbole, but It's the last line that matters, basically a signing from Colwyn Bay when it comes down to it.

I could play for Liverpool in the Europa League if I was lucky enough.

Morgan has realised it's better to be lucky than good.

I couldn't care less if it was liverpool, Accrington or Colwyn bay he signs from if he ends up delivering the right balance for the side, previous work counts for nothing its what they contribute now will matter.

A tough one today for us at Brackley but our away form is as good as any side in this league in fact it is the 4th best in the league so far this season so i do not fear any away game, and hope we can use momentum from that cup win to grab something here.

Table is so tight down bottom, you can win and jump 10 places nearly, plus with our game in hand on Monday, a chance to drag ourselves away from the drop zone.
