Huddersfield have done very well under budget they've had, massively overachieved when many tipped them to go down. So well I reckon manger will be elsewhere come start of next season.
We have done double over them this season might I add.

We have sold 14000 ST's so far for next season, already beating the 13500 we sold for this season.

Bolton cheapest adult - £316
Blackburn cheapest adult - £279

And wonder why they get about 9k. They are a similar size club to Bradford and Huddersfield, do the offers what they do and they could be pulling 20k a lot of weeks. Bradford and Huddersfield are 2 clubs on the up so it's safe to say the pricing has worked for them and naturally brings in thousands of extra fans who will carry on going now.

Think we averaged 10,700 home fans this season, we have the laziest marketing team in football.

The club are just relying on us fluking our way to the Prem one day to increase crowds, they'll never be pro-active when it comes to pricing initiatives. 50+ years out of the top flight in probably the most condensed area in England in terms of professional football clubs and we charge more than anyone else.

It would make sense if PNE did as blademan said, and offer cheap ST's like Bradford/Huddersfield. Overall if you could turn your 9/10k attendance into anything close to 15k-20k it would be well worth it from a financial point of view, aswell as the benefits from having a near full stadium every week can only push your team on to the next level.

Accountancy isn't my strong point, but for clubs in that boat (and there are many of them) who have a half full stadium most weeks, surely it makes sense, even as a temporary option to sell cheaper ST's to get more people into the stadium and make more revenue longer term. It seems to be a popular ideology with the clubs who currently do it.

I used to live near PNE and visit fairly often. Lost count of how many people you'd see in the town centre with Liverpool, Man Utd, even Everton shirts on (admitably it's like that almost everywhere). If you could entice those people to support PNE with cheaper ST deals you'd be laughing. I know you have many big clubs on your border, but with the right marketing scheme, I think the catchment area is definitely there.

I agree with all of that, unfortunately the powers that be, don't.

They would rather rely on the same 7,000 - 9,000 people buying season tickets every year and play it safe.

I know loads of people who class themselves as PNE fans but don't attend games, also plenty of glory hunters who class PNE as their second team and attend once or twice a season. The support is out there, they just won't part with the money PNE are asking and no efforts are made to entice them.

Worth a try, I'm sure you'll be able to get away with it. I tend to blag cheaper/ free tickets for most away games.

Free U11 ans £125 teenager tickets are decent though. Get them hooked younger, get them to get their mates to come on.

Finally released our prices/renewals today, price freeze for the 4th season on the trot.

£230 for me, though I sit in the "worst" part of the stadium, people who've never sat there fail to realise we have a fully kitted our supporters club 100 yards from where we sit. Every kick of every game is broadcast live in there so if the weather is a bit shit you can just go, have a beer, and watch the game streamed live on the big screens.

£230 (+ £69 junior) in the Family Stand is the cheapest... the most expensive is about another £300 on top of that.

£300 for me to renew in the early bird period to end of April. £315 for newbies, £350 till the end of this month then £390 after.

PNE's policies sound similar to ours albeit our prices are a bit lower, happy to see the same 8,000 people buying season tickets and another couple of thousand buying flexi tickets (any 5 games for £115 last year, don't even know if they'll do it again this year). We could easily pull in 15,000+ if we charged prices similar to Huddersfield/Bradford and make up any shortfall with shirt sales etc, but we seemingly never will.
