I definitely can't see QPR being anywhere near the bottom three.

I'd have them much closer to the top six, perhaps even the top six based on owd Stevie Mac. He took over a team in a similar position to them with us a few years ago, turned us from lower mid-table to genuinely the best team in the league by the end of the season. The year after we were six points clear and then injuries (Martin, Thorne, Mascarell, etc) and dropped like a stone. The second time he came in he took a team from the bottom 3 to the top six, but got sacked from dropping out the top six (absolutely ridiculous decision).

Excellent coach & manager at this level. I can't see Brentford & Preston finishing top 2. I'd not be surprised to see either finish up there, as an outside shout, but not both.

I really bloody hope you're right.

In my mind I think we'll flirt with play offs. All depends who we buy (As with anyone) but the youth we have are really good so with McClaren and a couple of decent signings, we'll do alright.
