Pretty comfortable all things considered for France. Yeah, the referee's penalty call was a big moment, but I think they would have gone on to win anyway. Yet again, when they turned on the taps and went through the gears, they just blew Croatia away.

This France team could be good for a long long time. They'll be the team to beat in 2 years time.

That is the point, isn't it? They flag it for the referee to go and double check?

Feel for Croatia who performed really well. Never a free kick for the first goal, never a penalty for the second. The third goal was excellent from France though and the fourth was a nice strike, even if the goalkeeper looked a bit easily beaten.

Enjoyed this tournament more than usual, I don't usually get into the other games too much but feel like I've watched and enjoyed the majority of them this time around.

Shame about the result, but deserved. France have been the best team in the tournament and pretty dominant since their second game. Very pragmatic, not the most fun to watch, but solid and very efficient on the counter and from set pieces. Lloris probably cost himself the Golden Glove with that mistake at the end, but great tournament from him, Varane, Kante, Pogba, Griezmann and of course Mbappe.

England would have been murdered by this French team on the break.
