It is against forum rules to wish Solihoof anything but eternal damnation and life in purgatory.

I strongly advise you to repent these sins NOW

According to Paul Warne their manager, coaching staff and chairman were very gracious in the after match drinks.

The fans totally took the piss out of us at 3 0 down, but what fans wouldn't?

What is it that makes them so loathsome on here?

they are more like a rugby team than a football team.

it will be interesting to see what happens when we play them at Solihull in the televised match on the 21st December - they mugged us 1-0 in the FA Cup, but we played them off the pitch in beating them 3-0 in the league.

They've got a fat lump of a Centre Back (Daly) who elbows people in the face and often decides in the first 10 minutes of a match that it will be the ref's fault if they don't win.

Daly is in either NLN* or NLS now - can't remember which - he left Solihull a month or so ago.

Edit - Gloucester City in NLN

This is going to trigger the Solihull turps drinker I know but..

They're a team of fridges who kick fuck out of the opposition every week, then roll around feigning injury when they're a goal up, Tim Flowers is unabashedly proud of his teams 'ethos' of launch that fucking inflatable circle thing as long and deep as you can and hopefully one of the lardies will get something on the end of it.

I wouldn't have labelled them that way on one viewing but you will know them better than me.
Maybe they cleaned up their act a little bit for the cameras?

They were quite happy to go down with the slightest touch and roll around but that's quite common in League 1.
So sadly as wrong as it is, you accept it these days. Refs seem easier to con than at any time in football history.

Thankfully that didn't happen to us but I did see Tim flowers interview and he did comment that we are a huge side compared to what they normally face in the National League.
Maybe they didn't fancy it?

Possibly.

Another thing of annoyance is that Flowers constantly talks as if it's a miracle they're near the top of the league, given the size of the club. Conveniently not mentioning they easily have a top 7 budget.

69 Exeter fans, some exiles in there but that's some effort for a Tuesday night in Pools.

Scrappy but decent performance from us, probably the better team on the night, though either side could've got goals in the 90 minutes.

Dunno how serious Exeter were about going through but they weren't really at it.

Boston lost 2-1 at home to Rochdale so missing out on playing Newcastle.

Fair play to Boston. An even game where we had the run of the ball (but a stricter referee might have given Thewlis a second yellow for simulation).

Shit draw and completely outclassed as expected, capping off another shit season.

The only thing we can hang on to is people somehow still turning out in numbers to watch the likes of Fraser Kerr and Kenton Richardson

Someone should've told their fans they were playing...

Hahaha go on monkey lad. Stick it to us. On a side note. You're top of the league, ex football league club. We're in the bottom 4 and you average just over 250 more than us. Disgraceful
