Great display from Norwich, particularly defensively.

I'm particularly pleased as it heaps more pressure on Villa! :bg:

Gutted I benched Pukki in my Fantasy team though.......

I'll be making my way up to Burnley tomorrow for the first time, which will be the first competitive Norwich game I've been able to get to since April 2018. Here's hoping for a similar performance and result to last Saturday, even if Burnley will be an entirely different prospect to Man City.

And back to reality we go. Simply put, we got thoroughly Burnleyed and had absolutely no responses to it. Mind you, we might still have been in it if we hadn't defended so badly in the opening fifteen minutes and given away two poor goals yet again.

At least Watford seem to be worse than us, but we still need at least two more teams to be and I'm not yet seeing them.

Well if we could play more like we did last week against Arsenal which means actually attacking our form might improve but we didn't give ourselves a chance and from then on didn't seem bothered which is the biggest worry.

Just seen the goals - we could have avoided most of them quite easily.

More 3 points for you in 2 weeks .

I mean we just cannot defend !

Huge game that one already, we have the victims next week so it's highly likely we will get nothing then a big game at your place, cracking start for us away from home, hope it continues.

Both us really need to win. Not sure if your 8-0 will be a good or bad thing going into this game, could give you the kick up the arse you need or you'll roll over if we score first. A lot of our moron fans are calling for Nuno's head, sadly I can see the boo boys only getting louder if we don't get 3 points.

Going with my heart rather than my head, and say we'll win 2-1.

The fact some of your fans are calling for a man's head who's got Wolves into Europe says it all about the state of modern football.

We are stuffed - everyone else can at least defend or score goals to give themselves a chance.

Same. No doubt it's between Norwich and Watford for 20th. Could be a real battle for the remaining spot though.

Yeah, we're doomed. One of the worst injury crises in Premier League history (if not the worst) absolutely does not help, but our complete lack of quality on all fronts is getting ruthlessly exposed now, and we definitely don't have the financial resources to rectify that in January. And any momentum and confidence promotion gave us has been obliterated now as well.

It's frankly a miracle we aren't in the bottom three yet, but as soon as we end up in there we won't get out of it, I'm almost certain of that. Villa next week is an absolute must-win already, but I simply can't see it with how utterly hopeless we are currently.

At least we won't lose too many players in the summer, what with how few have proven themselves to be Premier League quality so far.

Incredibly unlucky to lose yesterday, such a bad way to lose too after playing so well, making a few too many individual errors which is proving very costly. 3 home defeats on the spin now too but overall I and I think all blades are pretty happy with how we have started and how we are performing.

Sadly I think you’ll be alright, the fact you gave them a tough game is a good sign despite losing. It’s quite an interesting league this season with the top 2 being clearly the best, but the other 4 in the big 6 not being all that convincing, particularly Man United, Chelsea and Arsenal, good opportunity for a West Ham, Leicester or a Bournemouth to break into it.

Without a doubt my prediction at the start of season was.

City
Lpool
Spurs
Leicester

It will probably be arsenal 4th but I think theyll finish 5th at worst.

The 4 goals might be right !

Well VAR certainly is only used for offsides it seems .

Thankfully for Arsenal but Man U should have had a penalty earlier for handball ?

markwwfc1992 you coming to our gaff mate in the cup? You’ve got the whole of The North Stand. £10 tickets and because it’s the first home cup tie us season ticket holders have the game for free. I’ve got to relocate for this game. Should be a cracker all things considered. Our cup teams have been pretty strong this season.

Afraid not mate I'm in Holland for most of that week. Saw £10 is a very decent though, fair play to you for that. It's also in the middle of a crazy run where we have a 4 away games in 11 days (Slovan Bratislava, Newcastle, Villa and Arsenal).

Not to get my excuses in early but I can only see a home win. We'll probably play a lot of kids for it, and our 2 best ones in the Reading game were taken off with bad injuries. The league game 2 weeks later is much more important for both of us.

Completely disagree, the cup game for you is more important, as are all the europa games and fa cup games, you're gonna have a pretty dull midtable ish season so all the cups should be priority as a wolves fan I'd say. You'll be challenging top 6 next year.

I'd say the League and Europa League are definitely prioritised. I'd love for us to go for the cup game too but realistically our squad isn't big enough to play on 3 fronts as well as being called up in the international break. It's sad to admit and maybe a problem of modern football but I think if you asked most Wolves fans they would be happy to get spanked by Villa in the cup if it meant getting a result at Arsenal.
