I don't really know what to make of Rusk, other than that I'm pretty sceptical about the judgement of anyone who chooses to work closely with McGhee.

The thing is, McPake is not a decent manager.
It was a stupid time to sack him though (post transfer window) and McGhee still has a 6 match touch line ban to serve in Scotland (although that might be a good thing).

His record is very respectable at Dundee and you'd think there was credit in the bank for the previous season. In with a chance of staying up, bizarre timing and choice.
