Yeah, I love it as well. A good balance between retro and modern.

it's similar to the mid-90's Grant Brown/Gareth Ainsworth Echo sponsored kit, ironically enough around the time Appleton also played for us.
Think I have the 95/96 shirt somewhere.

It's looking like the first year that one of our old designs aren't being recycled for other clubs with Errea kits which is nice to see in terms of everyone getting their own bespoke designs.

Our third shirt was been released a month ago because it was one of the 'season ticket holder refund options' on the 4 games missed from last season. If the home and away shirts are, as usual, the same design but in White/Gold and Red/White then I think these might be my favourite kits we've had, even if I'd prefer us to go back to black or red trim on the home shirts.

Our kits for next season. Home is a celebration of our UEFA cup win in 1981, away shirt is made from recycled rubbish supposedly.

Does anyone know when the fixture list is released? I want to plan all the away games I won’t be able to go to due to COVID.

Ok I give in, I know the 11,964 figure is your average attendance from your Championship season 2008-09 but where's the 10,240 from?
Don't worry, found it 2014-15.
You do know that there is very little difference in our all time attendances, ours is 7412 yours is 7168 (https://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/spo...stoke-city-average-attendance-history-4100242)
Hardly massive is it?

Not as good as the home shirt IMO but I do like black shirts.

Keeper kit as well.

Think we need to conform who’s even in the division first!

First summer signing with Callum Camps joining us from Rochdale. His credentials look good and credit to Rochdale, he is a product of their Academy. So you Dale fans have we got a really good player on our books ?

Yes. Younger and IMHO better than Sarcevic

As he was out of contract, I'm a bit surprised that one of the saner, better run, Championship teams like Preston, Rotherham or Millwall didn't take a chance on him. But rather see him go to you than waste a season in L2 with Salford or Bolton.

Can play deep lying midfield, but probably more effective further forward.

Will hopefully get a decent reception from the Dale fans if we get to see him next season.

Our home kit is being released tomorrow. It looks like we’ll have black trim as well as a hint of gold for the first time in a while which I’m really happy about.

if it’s like the third kit and the main body of the shirt is purely white, then it’ll be one of the nicer kits this season I’m sure.

Thanks for this, sounds very promising. We lost Kyle Dempsey who was out of contract and was highly rated by many Fleetwood fans. He looks like an ideal replacement which is great news. Dempsey will be very good signing for some club
I hope you have a good season

Just watching the news this morning and there’s a report of a circus opening in Portsmouth.

The seating restrictions are 2 seats either side and an empty row behind. Entering exiting use a one way system, no food sold.

So why couldn’t this be the blueprint for a return of fans to football?

And I presume a family group could sit together

It's been mooted that families will be able to sit together at Sincil Bank as a way of trying to get more fans in.

Can't remember exactly what our Chief Exec was saying on the radio on Saturday but lots of one way, set time for individual entry into the stadium to avoid queues, fencing around the stadiums etc.

It’s going to be different for every club due to size of ground, concourse, seating spacing etc.

Salary cap vote today.

Due to the range of size Club's, I think it'll be closer than L2 but still pass.

Hope it goes through, as ever devil is in the detail but I am uncomfortable about cut off dates etc. E.g. Player signed last week on 4K a week but it will only count as an average for the duration of that contract. It needs to be robust, no loopholes and breaches heavily penalised.

Talking to someone from the club it looks like they are considering moving the food and drink physically away from the concourses and putting them outside the ground where there is more space and it outdoors. Clearly, they are looking at addressing all the bottle necks so they can maximise the number of spectators.

Salary Caps brought in - £2.5m for L1 and £1.5m for L2.

Interesting when NL Club's get promoted with a budget bigger than the L2 cap, which will, and has, happened!

The Championship needs to follow suit because otherwise it creates a bigger gap from L1 to Championship than there already is.

16/23 in L1 and 22/24 in L2 voted in favour.
