27 points at halfway, very happy with that mate don't know about you?
Some cracking attacking play at times and throughly deserved win too.
Pressure building on Lambert? No win in 7 for Ipswich now, pressure of being favourite and expectation getting to them maybe?

Thoroughly deserved win by Lincoln playing as a team. We haven’t a clue who’s playing each week or what formation will be played and it’s showing on the pitch!

Really enjoyed the game today, great day to end the year on and a thoroughly deserved win with Hesketh giving his best performance. Ipswich's discipline was horrendous and could have had a full team on cards by the end. Let's hope we kick off 2020 as well as we've ended it.

Peterborough must obviously be much better than they showed today.
Does Madison make that much difference?
Only downside for us was Mattock losing his head with Toney, at his age he should know better.
So now we have no left back for 3 games, luckily one game is in the cup.

That Toney is a proper prick, I believe he has some Michael O'Connor shaped retribution arriving early next year.

Lovely job beating Wimbledon 2-1 after using the squad to make 5 changes. 2-1 is a popular score in this game with Wimbledon winning the previous three 2-1.

One of the best attacking displays from Fleetwood in many a long year. They played some superb football and battered the Gasheads- but a combination of woodwork, goalkeeping, atrocious refereering, and failure to score in 2 excellent positions kept the score line goalless In fairness Rovers put in some stout defending and incredibly at the end could have won it
We seem determined to drop home points to keep us out of the play offs so lets see what New Years Day brings
Afraid to say Joseph Barton lost it today, we had a perfect view of the shenanigans and were shouting at his colleagues to keep him back, emotions run high in these tight matches especially when there are contentious decisions, no doubt his mobile will be getting plenty of use in the next 2 games

He'd never do such a thing, implacable temperament. Lovely family, too.

Glad to finally get that first away win today.

Remarkable how we haven't already done so this season. Robins has us playing the best football I've seen for a long time. If Godden starts scoring, we will be well up there come the end of the season.

I think we were worse for it in L2, it used to drive me up the wall. Every player who got substituted would mysteriously be in the furthest corner of the pitch, doing their boots up...we had a penalty shootout one time in the Tinpot Trophy (not even something worth cheating for) and our then goalie made a great show of taking off his gloves and putting them on again between each shot (fat lot of good it did).

We do take it further than most teams, sure, but I’ve seen a very round number of teams (the roundest of all) who don’t do it.

I think they’ve brought in a rule not that long ago though to stop players crowding the ref - much needed, we did that too much for sure.

You needlessly crowded the ref v Oxford which led to Akinfenwa being sent off.

Decent return I think and about got what we've deserved points wise.

Got 5 of the bottom 6 to play at home and played 5 of the top 6 away already. Not forgetting we're completely lop-sided in both our fixtures and home/away form and I think we're doing ok. Things feel as though they've settled down a bit now.

I've watched us for years and can never remember a season like it for the lopsided nature of the fixtures!
Even after yesterday we've played the fewest home games with just 9! Yesterday was my first home game since October!
Still got a decent average home crowd too, just a shade under 9000.
I've seen them 5 times under Appleton 4 wins and 1 defeat, 12 scored and 4 conceded, all scored by Ipswich!
Expecting a few new players if not for Wednesday then by Saturday it would appear.
Yeah things are coming together Luke, been a decent month with 9 points from the 5 games.

Why were Doncaster not playing in their home kit yesterday?

Posh at home tomorrow hoping to kick on from an IMPressive performance on Sunday. Sincil Bank LNER Stadium will be up for it and hopefully karma strikes on Ivan Toney following a really poor and dangerous hit on O'Connor just after the second half last time out. Calm heads needed and a Bozzy/Harry Anderson last minute winner would be lovely.

Not sure Karma will be registered in time for tomorrow. Pretty sure O'Connor will say hello. Might have a couple of quid on a red card :£

Another 4-1 away. Absolutely ran rings around Tranmere first half even in their pathetic pitch.

Had Tranmere scored that penalty, I reckon they may have gone on to won.

Some of the passing football we are playing though if phenomenal at this level.

Bit of a weird one today at Tranmere. Scored two early one and looked like adding to it every time we attacked, but Tranmere had more of the ball and were playing it around quite nicely. Then half-time came and we came back out not looking ready for a game of football in the slightest. They battered us for a good 10-15 minutes and had they scored the pen it would have been a very different game. After the subs we regained our composure and started to control the game and there was only going to be one winner after our third.

Two hat-tricks in two games for Matty Godden, unreal.

Always like beating Posh who are a bunch of individuals rather than a team. Dembele had a moment of madness but Posh weren't very good. Maddison and Toney spent more time trying to tell the referee what to do rather than concentrating on their own performance. Morell was fantastic, frustrating to give away another goal but deserved the 3 points. Posh yoof were good fun to watch in the stands and Darragh will have a nice fine to pay for their pyro.

Decent draw against a reasonable Pompey side. They could have got the full three points if they'd stopped falling over and rolling around on the floor at every opportunity. Burgess is a man mountain so to see him crumble to dust under a shoulder to shoulder with Hanlan who's a third his size was just laughable.

I agree that we might have drawn the game today, or even won it, had Ferrier's penalty gone in. However, that can't disguise the fact that our squad is not really fit for purpose at this level, particularly when we have injuries in key areas, which we have for the majority of the season.

The January transfer window is massive for us, and the Clarke signing looks like a decent one, but relegation seems likely now.

Harrison was an embarassment today, considering his supposed talent, and Marquis is wasted at Pompey with their style, proven goalscorer with the right set up. Curtis was anonymous, but thought Harness looked dangerous. We played the same line up yet again (think that's about 5 games in a row) which was probably an error seeing how lethargic we were until the changes. Jakubiak made a real difference yet again off the bench and surely will get a start soon, and I'd imagine we'd make 3 or 4 changes for the cup game on Sunday. Bit of a free hit, so no worries if we get beat by West Ham as long as we put a shift in.

Decent point considering we were nowhere near at it.

4.3 away win at Bolton after been 2.0 down. Happy with that.
Now only 3 points off the play offs after been about 10 a few weeks ago.
Wide open league now.

Blackpool tried to be a bit rough house, but picked on the wrong team today. The ref was shite all afternoon. Gave us throw ins and corners that never were, while allowing the Blackpool players to use any and all means to stop us without fear of punishment for a good hour, but was surpassed in that by the Lino who allowed the Seasiders goal to count by not flagging any one of the four players who were offside. Fortunately justice was served by Barlasers peach of a free kick. For large parts of this game it could have gone either way, but we are left feeling promotion class while many Blackpool fans will think they were rubbish. The difference a goal makes.

Weird bunch, their lot. I mean, they did everything you're told not to do as an away fan.

Stood up (everyone does, to be fair), didn't sit/stand in their seats, congregated closest the home fans on the walkway, obstructing views of people by doing so, which led to arguing with their owns fans, didn't watch the game, threw objects into home areas, spat at Club photographers, set off a smoke bomb and tried fighting with stewards...

It's very rare we have police inside SB nowadays but there were more there today than there has been for quite some time off the top of my head.
