That Carlisle away kit is horrendous. Home kit's not bad though.

I do like Scunny's third shirt because that v neck is only there for show is it not? It's not a proper v neck collar is what I mean.
Can't see why Scunny even need a third shirt. If it's anything like the last time we produced one then the entire kit is only there for show.

I like the away better than the home.

I’ll never be ok with navy blue on the shoulders and arms. I’m not even happy with the shade of the lighter blue part but I’d be willing to overlook that if it wasn’t for the navy blue.

Been to the shop this evening to get the kit.

The away kit in my opinion is even uglier in person than it is in the photos. We'll look like traffic cones, I just hope we don't play like them too.

That's just my opinion though and it seemed a fair few fans were buying the away kit. Last season's was pretty popular and if this year's is anything like then the club's choice of colour will I suppose be vindicated. Still don't like it.

The club staff were not wearing the official masks... a ringing endorsement.

Just to make us seem a little more tinpot, the finance director herself was guarding the entrance to the shop to control the flow of people while also asking ST holders if they wanted a refund for the cancelled games and squirting their hands with handwash.

You know the handwash that has alcohol in it and dries on your hands... this was not that, it was just normal handwash, so everyone got slimy hands.

I really liked the Carlisle purple away kit from the season before last. Both unique and stylish. Not convinced by the one for the season ahead though...

I think there are a handful of L2 Clubs who also have Errea as their kit manufacturers. Ours has slightly different collar design to Carlisle so you'll probably end up with one of the two!

How has that kit gone down amongst the fans? Looks very un-Lincoln with the pinstripes.

Well so far. As you say, there's probably not enough white in the shirt and not particularly Lincoln stripes but the whole design and sponsor design/placing is far, far better than previous years so it's been overlooked in the main although some don't like it for the reason you mention.

It's very, very similar to a kit we had in the mid-90's. I think they've gone down that route again because the Club also brought out two, un-sponsored retro kits last season, which sold out.

We've gone back to the 80s with ours:

At first I was a bit sceptical - but it's definitely grown on me in the last 15 mins

Got to say i quite like that. All the Errea ones have seen so far look decent to be fair.

Do hope when they get round to ours Errea don’t do the pinstripes on it though. Am just a traditionalist on this and would rather plain white shirt with gold trim and black shorts.

Better than the home strip IMO. And no, it's not Wycombe. It's inspired by this great strip we had back in 98/99.

Remember Southampton did the same with the pinstripes a few years ago? It's not a bad idea tbf. Mix things up for a season or two, then you can make a thing of it when the normal style comes back and sell even more than you would have otherwise.

We've done the skinny stripes recentlyish too. Hated it. Not as bad as when we had black and white halves though.

'The stripes are back'

Words I wish I could hear from us. Sigh.

Here is our home kit, three really nice shirts for us this season in my opinion.

Yep, that's a nice shirt. Still think the white one's the best one out of the three though.

We are revealing ours staggered from 7/8 and 28/8 for home and away and having a third that’s mysteriously being revealed depending on the season start date (maybe the third is Robbie Williams involvement)

Our new home kit has been released. Looks half finished to me.

And the away one is last season's kit but in yellow and black. Not too bad, but not great either.

I've got the home one. First time in ages I've not gone for the away. Either way, I had to get our first shirt back in the EFL.

Yep, both terrible I think.

That said, they'd have fitted in nicely with the competition L2 clubs had two seasons ago with who could produce the worst shirts.

To be fair the blue and white one isn't that bad, but might have been better if they had continued the stripey part all the way to the bottom or started the plain blue bit a bit further up...mind you if they had started it around the top of the armpit level it would have looked a bit like the Everton home strip from the 80's (when they had a half-decent team and used to win things!).

The away strip is horrific.

I really like the Bradford goalie kit and would happily wear that, minus the badge of course, to the gym or when I'm out on my bike.
