Chrome is still deeming this site unsafe and I think some members are having trouble accessing the site, myself included.

I'll wait until tonight and see if more people are able to predict. If not, I'll have to scrap this round irrespective of the '8 plus rule'. Otherwise it just wouldn't be fair. For some people to miss one round is one thing, twice in consecutive weeks is something else.

Many of you folks on here know how this works but here's some info for those of you not familar with the rules.

(1) The season is divided into two parts - Season One which runs up to the 18th December fixtures and then Season Two kicks off with the Boxing Day fixtures. The two 'seasons' consist of 23/24 rounds.

(2) I have decided to make some changes to the way points are allocated. In short this is how you score points for your predictions -

3 points for a correct score
2 points for a correct result and 'goal difference' ***
1 point for a correct result

*** For instance, let's say Carlisle beat Colchester 2-1 and you predicted a 1-0 home win. In that case you earn 2 points because you got the correct result and the correct 'goal difference'. Likewise if you had a 3-2 or a 4-3 home win and so on. This applies to drawn matches as well; a correctly predicted draw carries 2 points or 3 points in the case of a correct score.
