We're doing well in terms of game management and frustrating Birmingham, but I don't think we can do this for the full 90.

Stansfield running to our fans and 'shushing' them. What a Snively little shit-weasel.

Great finish but what an awful time to concede their only shot on target, can’t give the ball away constantly and complain we’re behind though.

I just don’t understand why he didn’t catch it?!

We’ve done well up to a point but lack up front.

Nailed on pen for them immediately before we scored but who cares?!

Come on City, game on.

Decent enough effort to say we had half a team missing. Hope Birmingham get battered in the final.

Good effort Bradford, the squad they have and the players they can bring off the bench is quite frankly ridiculous.

The decision makers seem to constantly get bailed out of this shocking format by the fact that big teams from the top of L1 always seem to make the final, so the crowds at Wembley are huge.

It totally ignores the fact that the group stage games are woefully attended aside from a couple of exceptions.

Obviously would’ve loved a Wembley trip but proud of them tonight given how many were missing and having to play a centre half upfront because we’ve no striker against a side with Jay Stansfield, Lyndon Dykes and Alfie May up front.
Birmingham the most tinpot of any big team we’ve played in recent years treating a JPT game like the semi final of the Champions League.

That pre-show thingy was weird. When I banged the stream on I thought I was watching some sort of Poundland Wrestlemania.

Is the boycott of this competition out of the window then? Or do Birmingham just not get it?

At least we take the boycott seriously. We’ll be boycotting this trophy full stop next season, including our team.

Their fans are already booking Wembley. I expect us to lose this one but their arrogance is on another level.

£35 fully refundable room at Wembley Park Premier Inn booked the day the date of the final was announced. They're either £150+ or sold out now.

You'd have to be a dribbling moron to turn that down. Makes complete financial sense to get it booked, nothing arrogant about it at all.

That makes good sense especially when you are running away with a division higher than your opponents and are at home. Pleased we were able to make a game of it especially as we were unable to field a striker. Thought you should have had a pen and hope Stansfield is ok. Not bothered who wins at Wembley but enjoy your weekend in the capital.

Decent game last night - thoroughly enjoyed it. Pleased we gave a good account of ourselves, given the players we were missing and everything else thrown into the equation.

First half we showed them too much respect. Solid enough (as always) but weren’t good enough with the ball. Second half, especially the first 15 minutes, we were immense. Birmingham fans were rattled and their players couldn’t get out of their own half at times.

Went flying down 15 steps when Pointon scored - great scenes. Couldn’t be more chuffed for him, given his family were in the away end.

Far from sour grapes, but I’m a little relieved we didn’t get to Wembley. We’ve had two great runs in this competition these past couple of seasons, but the league is our bread and butter. We need to go up this season.

Overall - great game, decent atmosphere and a few grand in our pockets.

I think we had two penalties denied which should've been given, one for the tackle on Stanno and the other for handball, but no point moaning about it now.

Stansfield is apparently a very lucky boy. Pictures of him on Twitter standing up and smiling only a couple of hours after the game. Sounds like more a severe impact injury to his thigh rather than anything to do with his knee.

Bradford we're like two different teams yesterday. Very poor first half but I was very impressed with how you came out after HT. You were much better than a lot of the dross we've faced in League One this season and you caused us a lot of problems from 45-70 minutes when eventually the tiredness caught up with you I think.

Good support from your lot, as I expected. Hope you get promoted, you're far too big a club to be languishing in the 4th tier.

That was similar to me when our first penalty went in away at Southampton, although I ended up upside down on top of a guy 3 rows in front of me which thankfully he was laughing about.
It was just like them photos you see on Twitter which people comment on and say they were staged but I ended up exactly like that but thankfully nobody took a photo.
