Whenever the criticism of Bayo ramps up just that additional notch he seems to go and score a couple of goals to stop it. One of those streaky infuriating strikers it seems, not unlike Adebayo in that respect.

Yes even yestrday he did some frustrating things but as you say scored (second a foul potentially - not by Bayo)

Mind you Jebbison looked totally lost when he came on so no wonder he hadn’t played much .

QPR away on Saturday.

We're both on 6 game-unbeaten runs, it reeks of another fucking draw.

Imagine it'll be Thordarson in for Ben Whiteman and Sam Greenwood back in for Will Keane.

Woodman
Potts - Storey - Lindsay - KKH
Thordarson - McCann
Greenwood - Frokjaer - Brady
Osmajic

Derby at home for us tomorrow. The away form is so bad that every home game has become must win and this is no different.

I think Hashiokas performance at LCB last week is what has sparked this temporary signing of Pieters, although id be surprised if he played right away. Absolutely damning inditement of the recruitment and shocking management of the squad that he has been signed as a stop gap player for the Christmas period.

Edwards seems to have hit on a relatively small group of players recently that he trusts so id expect a similar 11 to recent weeks.

Hopefully Collins gets a good reception.

Terrible game. 2 really poor sides, can’t have been many neutrals who toughed out the first 10 minutes let alone been around to see the last 10 minute turnaround.

Can’t believe Edwards kept Moses and Chong at LWB and RWB for so long in the game. Playing both on opposite sides just removed any potential for fluency in the play. The amount of times they both received the ball with their back to the play and could only hook a ball straight down the middle of the pitch was unbelievable. Finally got better when he finally switched Chong but why so long?

As I said after the pathetic display of Walsh last week, Pelly hasn’t let us down ever and has been treated terribly. Comes on today and is a huge part of the turnaround, albeit the goal looks to go in off Holmes.

Would have got ugly I think if it had it not happened. I guess the one thing you can say is that the players clearly still believe in Edwards to keep going

I don’t know how we’re doing it, but we’re churning out these wins at home despite playing very average at best in every match (bar the Watford game).

Perhaps it’s an indictment of this league and some of the dross that’s hovering around the bottom half. Out of nothing they’re now up to 14th place when it feels like they’re playing terribly.

Thought we played reasonably against Stoke tbf but you are totally right, we are somehow making things work at home. I worry its not very sustainable, especially as we totally rely on set pieces essentially. Im hoping the club has something up its sleeve for January because the squad desperately needs some reinvigorating.

Dreadful half at Hillsborough topped off by Bernard getting caught on the ball and bringing the man down, twice. At least he’s got Boxing Day off

They just don’t seem to have much about them, although the wind is horrendous today so it’s hard to judge

We’ve been very fortunate. Beadle saved a penalty and they could easily have had another 2

Very honest of you!

Stoke seem to be the same each season .

Always mid to lower table .

Abysmal performance but I never want to see that c*** Liam Lindsay play for us again.

Got a late goal but well beaten tbh.

Credit to Jebbison and Bahh for it.

Could have been worse in reality.

Over run quite a lot in midfield first half.

Sure TC will see positives in it.

Hull at home.

Need a win as we keep dropping points and edging back towards the bottom three. Teams have games in hand on us so, unless we get 4-6pts in these next two, we could find ourselves in the relegation zone in January.

Lindsay suspended, Whatmough got a knock, and Hughes might not be ready - could see the forgotten man Bauer get a game.

Woodman
Storey - Bauer - Hughes
Potts - McCann - Thordarson - KKH
Frokjaer
Osmajic - Keane

Boro away for us, not normally a place we get a good result at but our away form is decent and we should go there with some confidence.

We got battered 2-0 there last season in a performance Röhl was apoplectic about which seemed to galvanise us enough to go through the rest of the season unbeaten and stay up.

Bernard suspended and we had a bout of illness running through the squad prior to Stoke so expect a couple of changes.

Not much in our game, 2 pretty poor sides overall however we are insipid and uninspired in attack, only really feels like Clark who wants to get on the ball and create with an incisive forward pass, the rest are functional at best players and with the lack of Doughty and any RWB of note, it’s leading to very limited attacking play. After much high hopes this pre season Chong continues to flatter to deceive also further causing us issues. We must be one of the lowest in the league for open play goals because we are totally clueless in attack.

Good strike from Twine but you know he has it in his locker so we really shouldn’t be inviting him to shoot from there.
