Cambridge, please do us a huge favour today. We will be eternally grateful.

This game being made a complete farce by a totally incompetent ref. Letting terrible tackles go for both sides, then sending Loft off but not the Burton player was frankly rediculous. There are more red cards to come in this game. Fancy us to nick this one late on.

That last minute burton has all but sorted the bottom 4. They’re the great escape artists

See you guys, it’s been fun except for the last two seasons. Hopefully Bolton will STILL be here when we come back up.

It's been a pleasure (occasionally) everyone. I'm sure we'll see some of you again sooner than others!

Oh for the season to be a few matches longer, or Monk to have been kidnapped and thrown in the Cam (admittedly not the best river for a drowning, but you catch the drift) a few months earlier. The bar was nowhere near as high as we expected at the start of the year, and to be that shit for that long and still take it to the penultimate match is quite something.

Bring on the retained/release list!

A real sickener and rollercoaster of emotions. With the Cambridge game being 10 mins behind due to the first half added time, it felt like there was still plenty of time as we were cruising to a well deserved victory.
Just before our final whistle we heard of the Cambridge equaliser and it was like we had scored. Limbs in the terrace.
Everyone hung around as the players came round and applauded the fans and then the news broke of the Burton winner. Real tough one to take but it’s the nature of football when you end up relying on other results.
Ultimately, defenders define your season and we have been a laughing stock at the back for the most part under Elliott.
Gutted we couldn’t take it to the final day, had Lindsey not jumped ship earlier in the season, really feel we would be pushing mid-table.
Hopefully Wagmi don’t have another fire sale and we can take the positive momentum into a promotion push next year. Who knows.
