well a right bunch of dicking about with KO times this week, but amazingly it's not even all the fault of the telly planners.

In our case we actually asked for the game to be brought forward a day to give extra recovery time before the Boxing Day game.

For our game v Bolton, it's 1st in the form table v 8th (on the basis of the last 6 games), but Bolton's away form is actually better than their home form, so definitely one where we will have to be on top form to get anything, despite some poor results for them and underperforming in general.

We've given this same excuse but I'm fairly the reason is we do tend to like one Friday night home game a season for old times sake. We did the same last season on the Friday before Christmas against Notts County. As a home supporter who lives fairly close, I must say I do enjoy Friday night games but appreciate it's annoying for Peterborough supporters and would rather we didn't for that reason alone.

Bristol Rovers away, 12:30 KO. Yuck. If the game didn't get moved then i'd be going but cba with a 6 hour round trek 4 days before Christmas.

We're away so won't play well and they aren't in too much good form. 1-0 home win. I've got zero confidence in our forward line at the moment. If we are to score, then it'd be from a set piece, own goal or some grace from God.

Would’ve been great to have played Friday night, but i’m not sure Notts police would’ve been too keen on us playing someone from South Yorkshire on mad friday (or whatever its called).

After holding out for a point against charlton we’ve now got Rotherham who’ve won a few games in the row so will be a test - epically with Steve Evans back in town.

Would be happy with another point to add to the tally with no forward options available.

We played JCH, Sam Nombe, Malik Wilks and Andre Green up front against Northampton but he might drop Green to the bench as it was his first start for 14 months.

Raggett will be missing and Humphreys is now well down the pecking order so he might go again with Odoffin at CB or bring back McCart to partner Jules.

Tiehi went off injured at HT so Kelly might start with Powell in midfield.

50 years ago to the day and date we played out a 1 - 1 draw at Field Mill.

I know that because it was my wedding day so I couldn't go.
For obvious reasons I won't be there on Saturday either.

Awwww well congratulations pal.

That’s a cracking effort and you should be applauded.

Hopefully you’re still able to score in your own way too  :P1:

Had to take the day off for our Friday night trip to Cambridge , no trains available to get back home same night, so unfortunately will be driving as having to now work the Saturday to make up the money lost on Friday.
Thinknthis maybe a lot tougher the the league table suggests. Been a very long time since I visited the Abbey stadium , don’t even know what it’s called now , the last time I visited John Beck was manager and you had Dion Dublin playing upfront for you think it was nil nil.

Interesting season too, bet you'd settle for being top of the league

Dion's (up the stairs) in the Board Room at the Cledara Abbey Stadium now.

Don't know what to expect from this one. We're 9th in the Form Table with 16 points from the last 10 games, having got 1 point from the first 9. With players coming back from injury, I'd be more optimistic if Corey Smith hadn't collected a daft 5th yellow card at Wrexham to trigger a suspension on Friday night.

We've had enough dodgy performances to know that we have to be at our most energetic and in your face to get results and the atmosphere under the floodlights should deliver that. I'd take a point but we need a win from somewhere over the next 3 games and as the following two are away in London, a win would be handy.

Is there plenty of free parking near the ground all suggestions welcome

Burton (a) - we’ve got to win at some point, right?

Having a gander at previous seasons it appears that there’s only usually 1 side that completely collapses in on itself and those that go down aren’t that far off. obviously not even halfway this season but shrewsbury and burton look to be giving it a go so far.

Have to finish off the Christmas shopping, look forward to getting back at 5 for another tale of woe. Great opportunity for Burton to start picking up points.

No you will not.... We play three centre backs and our three main centre backs are out. Santos, Johnston suspended Toal is Injured. Two midfielders again our two main midfielders are out injured Sheehan and Dempsey. And our best Midfielder this season plays for you.
Forwards we have three decent forwards and one that is lge 2 standard so again it will be the lge2 player with another.
A manager who looks like the world is on his shoulder and no confidence in any of the team.
This could be 5/6 for you.
Another manager and a fit squad to choose from we beat yo every week

Parking will probably be a problem. It will be a big crowd and quite a few will be making a night of it so will be in early. A few of us Habbinites are having a curry pre-match so I'll be in my spot early and may be leaving the car overnight.

Street parking is always difficult to find for non-locals, especially in the dark. If you are very early, you might find some where North of Newmarket Road towards town or on the estate between the B1047 Ditton Lane and Wadloes Road. Others may have suggestions south of the ground. Standard recommendation is the Newmarket Road Park & Ride - which is a buggar to get back to after the match.

The Wadloes estate option is probably the best option, but you may need to explore the side streets off it if you get there after 7pm. 7-8 minute walk to stadium and you pass a McDonalds

Early KO is fine by me, back home for tea and a few beers.

We’ve sold out our away allocation of 1036 for Friday night should be a good atmosphere. Cheers 4 parking info.

Would echo Wadloes Road and the estate off it too - that’s where I park. Also to get there, come off the A14 at the Horningsea/Fen Ditton exit as you’ll avoid the carnage of Cambridge traffic then.

Less than 600 off a complete sell out for our game tomorrow night against Huddersfield. Great crowd for a Friday night under lights.

Only been 54 years since we won at Barnsley.
Seems that long since we last kept a clean sheet!

Wigan away for us, need a win in any way possible to give a bit of confidence ahead of the busy festive period. Could end up totally dead and buried by new years day otherwise.

Not sure what Ainsworth will try. Shipley possibly to come back in. Probably the biggest issue at the moment is Savin in goal having totally lost all confidence and costing us goals. It was just the defence at the start of the season. Our backup (Young) hasn't played higher than Conference North, looks about 5ft 6 and Hurst preferred to have Winchester as the "backup keeper" in his last few games as he'd played garlic football!

Unfortunately this isn’t the sort of sacking and you’ll expect us to bounce back.

Things are really toxic right now, due to the ownership, and the players want out. Go 1 up and you’ll batter us

Our owners have come out this week and backed Evatt fully despite the majority of the fans wanting him gone.
Does not help himself with comments about the fans and it has turned very toxic.
Struggling for a team against Wycombe tomorrow night with Desmond,Forino, Toal, Santos, Johnston, Sheehan Dempsey and Gomes all out
Doubt the owners or Evatt will be here next summer

Brum on a Monday night. I dont think we've played a Monday night since the old Town Mead days (if then) so it's something different.

I look at their side, then look at ours. Let's hope they really don't like Mondays!

Any Brum fans coming. We dont do segregation outside of the ground. The pub over the road accepts fans there's one a bit further away that does a decent pub curry and Redz bar at the back of the south stand normally let's away fans in.

Street parking nearby. Two big housing Estates but don't park in the sports centre..

We are a small club. There ain't a lot of room.
