Ehmer was not great on Saturday against us. After the game JB did suggest that some players might not be playing again for him, and I surmised the team captain was the target of that.

Interestingly some Argo fans said they liked Hanlon and Kilgour. It is only one game, but I was not so convinced by Hanlon. Busy, but seemed a bit too much huff and puff. Kilgour was more impressive.

I never got the list of scummiest shittiest teams in football. Glad we are top of something.

I suppose these guys need something to do when they are not setting fire to police vans and generally being a public menace.

They have a cheek considering the way their fans have acted at derby games in the past

Interesting man management skills shown by Mr Barton at Rovers; I assume it's aimed to be a kick up the arse for Max. (whoever he is, Ehmer I'm guessing)

JB said today "Don’t forget I’ve known Max from when I was at QPR. He was training with us when he was 20 and the observations of him then haven’t changed much to the observations of the player I’ve found now.

"That is worrying in that period of time, seven, eight or nine years, if you’re still making the same mistakes.

"I think you can only help yourself. He can only help himself first and foremost before you can help any of your teammates."
"Captain when we came in, and I just don’t understand that," Barton said.

"How can that be the leader, the person you set out as the head of your organisation, as the head of your troops?

"He’s got a lot of work to do, the boy. We’ve got to build him back up and it’s not straightforward, and, as I say, I can only help people who want to help themselves.

Yet he was excellent for us, I was very disappointed when he left to say the least.
