I didn’t even know the tram went to Rotherham.

I fucking despise trams mind, particularly the ones in Wroclaw, Amsterdam and Nottingham

It's called the Tram Train, they go to Meadowhall, Rotherham station and Parkgate Retail Park.
It will go on into Doncaster eventually.

A dreadful 0-0 game at Sincil Bank.
Yepp. Wigan edged first half. We were better 2nd and got into a lot of dangerous positions but that final ball was off. Cant remember our keeper having a save to make. Bright spark was Moylan and nearly getting the winner at the end. Least I've got my afternoon in the sunshine.

We look so much better than stevenage. Our keepers first save was on the 88th minute. Citys passing was sublime at times, Stevenage were chasing shadows.

We're in second gear here and Crawley have had their moments, including easily the miss of the season.

How we’re going into HT behind I do not know. Well actually I do, we can’t hit a fkin barn door. Might need a new TV once it has been fly kicked.

So many chances and nothing to show for it which is going to be the difference this year.
Wrexham can’t be any worse 2nd half so I fear for us.

Really poor performance today and deserved to lose. Jones’ system has been really ineffective this season but the defence has been solid enough it hasn’t really mattered. We lack anything going forward and lump it up whilst not really being set up to lump it up with the midfield and wingbacks staying back so there’s never anyone challenging for the flick ons or second ball. The wingbacks also don’t get forward enough and cross it in.

We were bad defensively today and on any day when that happens we are going to struggle given the lack of attacking threat

Unfortunately, had a stonewall penalty not given in the 85th which could have made things interesting but didn’t deserve anything from the game

We got away with it today for sure. A very weird game in difficult conditions with every goal coming against the run of play.

Last year we beat you twice without ever really deserving all three points. Same again today- I'll take it.

Crawley should be fine this year. Lindsay really seems to be good at making silk purses from sows ears.

Was convinced it was going to be a 3-0, just not the way it almost went. Was also convinced we'd bottled it after they scored one and then won a penalty within two minutes of it with the full back being sent off... penalty saved and about 5 or 6 players with cramp. Deffo raised our game for it today but i'll take 3 points when i've budgeted for none.

Yep inevitable, you deserved at least a point there but some truly awful finishing. We were poor today but got the job done in the end which we invariably do. I think you'll always gifts goals the way you play, the winner came from a corner needlessly conceded.

Utterly abysmal today, as bad as anything I can remember, 1st goal conceded will do the rounds on twitter. That second spot behind Birmingham is well up for grabs, don’t look at us for it.
Well done Northampton.

It’s so infuriating, only 1 game this season that we haven’t deserved something from. Plenty of positives but Lindsay needs to find a way to get goals out of this team asap. Swan had to score one of his chances.
Fair play to you, weren’t at the races but somehow stole all 3 points.

If you could lose it again before next weekend that would be great.

We might. Usually a better away side than in E10 under Wellens. But - the despicable performance against Shrews aside - we are miles better than results have suggested so far this season. As unworried about finishing in the bottom 4 as I was in pre-season. As long as the injury bug doesn’t strike again, we’ll be a tough out for any of the promotion-seeking sides.

I said to my mate pre-match we will only concede against these via a ridiculous mistake, and that happened in the first 5 minutes Deji tried to boot it away but miskicked it and gifted a sitter 3 yards out.

Rest of the 1st we were truly abysmal, until the last five minutes when we started to actually create chances and the referee denied us the most obvious handball penalty going. Second half once we equalised only one side was going to win it, although they did force Pym in one good save to be fair.

Overall a poor performance to be honest, particularly the first half, we basically gave them a 45 mins head start but once again we find a way to win against a poor side in Shrewsbury.

Well, mansfield bumble to another win.

As mentioned earlier in the week, opening home games against burton, stockport, cambridge and shrewsbury were always going to a good chance to get points and so this has proven, to come from behind today was an excellent effort after such a dreadful first half - 8 from 4 home games is highly satisfactory.

Like cambridge last week we were probably pushing our look to get the win, and i get the feeling had we been playing anyone decent we could well have got battered, as it was shrewsbury were very midtable league 2.

We were very poor today I thought. Bit of confusion with their goal with the lino flagging for offside in the build up but still piss poor defending. They missed an open goal and made a few chances in the 2nd half also.
Big let off

OK but Stevenage really were dreadful. I guess that is the textbook definition of a regulation win. Even Niskanen looked good...

Fair play Orient they were excellent today. Full of passing and pressing which was a level above ours, Challinor made switches at half time that brought us right back in to it but as soon as County score, Wellens makes his own changes and neutralises us. Today showed the issue with having wing-backs who are much better at being wingers than they are full-backs, exploited time & again and Orient flashed so many balls across the goal, if they had a forward who could follow in they'd have scored seven or eight.

Definite bump back down to earth for us, shows how easy our start really was.

Although we are not playing well, average at best in our last three games imo we are still scoring some good goals, the winner today again was great.

Well done Northampton.

Just came across it, made me feel much better about our gift wrapped goal today.
