We sold the keystones and replaced them with cheap glue, and the bridge came tumbling down. Nobody in the entire National League is finding it harder to score than us.What's happened to you lot over the summer? Completely tore us apart in the play-offs yet you were shocking today, offered nothing going forward and it was just a case of if we could put the ball in the net.
I assume he’s about 20 Stone now?
Tranmere are still winning this league.
Fair play to you for your second half performance, the best football anyone has played against us this season. What's happened to you lot over the summer? It could be going ten foot wide and he'd still be in the way.Tranmere got what they deserved, absolutely nothing. Davies' timewasting was ridiculous although ironically it allowed the added time for Rendell to score the winner.
What I didnt understand, is how Tranmere, struggling in mid table, tried to hold on for a point after we equalised instead of trying to attack. There was only one side trying to win the game late on.
Tranmere are also only the 2nd side in 7 years to lose against us after going ahead (we beat Braintree twice in 2015/16 after going behind)
While I find his antics extremely irritating, arguably the best player on the pitch was McNulty - I lost count of the amount of times he got in the way of goalbound shots.
Alabi? See he played nearly all game for you.Bore of a draw at Crabble, Maidenhead we nothing and we were just 10% better, Frustrating as another team visit us and pack there defence and time waste from the first minute, Dover eventually took the lead then looked for the second, only to allow Maidenhead to equalise with the first shot on target in the 93d minute, we need to kill off games like this, had the possession and chances, but failed to impress. although the new guy did well.....................................
One rung at a time, moving on upOff the bottom. The march to promotion has begun.
Surely Davis must be on thin ice at Orient. That stat of 14 wins in 108 games or whatever it is is shocking.
To be honest, I think it was the dust-up involving both sets of players that resulted in most of the injury time rather than Davies. I agree about McNulty but your number eight was also outstanding, seemed like an ideal replacement for Benyu.Tranmere got what they deserved, absolutely nothing. They deserved appoint the pressure they put us under, but what a pack of utter twats that team is.Fair result I thought but a real sickener to concede so late, but we've done it to other teams this season already so just how it goes.
It was never going to be a classic, the weather was minging and both sides just kept pumping long balls off the pitch left right and centre, Sutton must've had 5 players over 20 stone playing today, team full of fatties, I thought it was a supporters team at first.
CH sets us up not to lose, we need to be more attack minded at home, Sutton were there for the taking at 1-0, push on get a second and finish them off, instead we sat back and invited long balls into the box which they eventually scored.
Thats been clear for a number of weeks now! It's clear the Conference is piss poor this season.
This league is making me fall out of love with football. £17 a ticket to watch football devoid of skill against teams set up to frustrate, cheat and ruin from the first whistle. Not every team, but a significant proportion. It's only mindless loyalty that is making me travel the best part of 100 miles each way to watch us, but admittedly I'm making that journey less and less frequently this season. My wallet and mental health are both feeling the benefits! They deserved appoint the pressure they put us under, but what a pack of utter twats that team is.
Time wasting virtually from the kick off until we scored, foulng constantly to stop the flow of the game, going down like they'd been shot. Some of the diving they were doing was ridiculous, even more ridiculous the ref buying it.
But were were warned by Wrexham,Tranmere fans we'd come up against teams like that.

The 'devoid of skill' bit of my post applied mainly to us!Well it's gonna be a bit embarrassing when neither of us put on the expected footballing spectacle this Tuesday!
Another routine win at Hayes Lane against a poor Woking side. And a woeful two footed challenge from Ferdinand in the second half that fully deserved the red card.
Hey come on, man up - Shaymen, Chester, Darlington and Hereford fans stuck with their teams when they had to watch them playing works and pub league teams, because they knew they were needed more than ever. It's easy to support a team in the good times, if you want to see them again, back your team! This league is making me fall out of love with football. £17 a ticket to watch football devoid of skill against teams set up to frustrate, cheat and ruin from the first whistle.
