Weren't you in good form before this?

I've only seen Macc beat Lincoln once. They only do it when I'm not there.
Not away, no.

1 win in 8 I think. 6 or 7 home wins on the bounce, though (best home record in the division I think).

Think this shows just how much Lincolns away form is holding them back!

Best home form over last 6 games but not record in the division, that's us by having conceded a goal less than Brizzle - 15 played, 10 wins, 4 draws, 1 defeat.

Eastleigh, played a game less and have a win less so effectively them too.

Edit - I was looking at the PPG table on Statto.com

I hadn't seen a table after today's game, so we were second prior to those coming in, but yeah, home form and away form are two extremes.

Need six points from Chester and Dover now, which is by no means impossible, but a very tough ask.

Think you can count us out of it if it's less than four, for sure. Not really certain it's worth sneaking fifth place anyway - we'd get embarrassed by whoever we played in the play-offs.

Disappointing result today should've at least drew. The result is made worse as Hodgkiss went off injured. Lewis had an absolute shocker and since the turn of the year his form has plummeted. Worsnop made some amazing saves to keep Chester winning.

Also one of the worst linesmen I've seen ever, couldn't keep up with play, there was several offsides for both Chester and us that he didn't see and he gave a handball against Spencer when it quite clearly hit his chest.

A point was all I was expecting and we should have had a rare penalty when loanee centre forward Oliver McBurnie was bundled over as he went up for a header, which looked a goal all the way.
From my view McBurnie just ran into our defender and was looking for the penalty.

Apart from a spell at the beginning of the second half, that was more like it. It's important that we take the last 15 minutes approach into next week's game at Halifax. Luisma has to play in that fixture. He is a quality player and a joy to watch.

70 goals for Barnet after 32 games, fair play to that!

I thought that today. I actually said during the 2nd half that we haven't put a team to the sword for a while and it was quite worrying. To be honest it was a bit squeaky until the 2nd goal.

Perfect result in the end, our defence has been poor recently and a clean sheet is just what they needed.

We now need to get our away form back on track with a tough game at Halfiax next (go easy on Akinde please lads).

25th November we were 8 points clear of Bristol, 7 points clear of Macclesfield, 6 points ahead of Grimsby, with Bristol and Macclesfield having games in hand.

Today we are in the same or better position against those three so I'm more than happy considering we lost two on the bounce.

Good hard won game today with Luisma absolutely stealing the show.

Indeed we've won the last 6 home games which is our best since 1982 when we won 14 in a row, however we've only won one of the last 12 away from home. Not a clue how we sort it, we do make mistakes at home we seem to get away with more of them.
At least we kept 11 on the pitch today, shame we lost Adams early on to an injury , hope its not too serious.

Looked like he jarred his back when landing from a header.

Hope so, the manager is on about bringing a couple of players due to the injuries we have.

I think a draw would have been a fair result for both Chester and us. We were quite poor in the first half but we looked a lot better after the break, particularly when we put Spencer on. Worsnop made some ridiculous saves in the second half, him and Mahon were Chester's stand-out players.

Lewis looked shaky again in goal. He was one of our best and most reliable players at the start of the season, but I think he needs a break from the team while he's in bad form and it would be nice to see Jas Singh get a run of games. Danny Wright looked a handful and came close to getting a goal. I think we need to play a striker with him from the start though. I'd like to see Asante start up front with him next week.
