Not so.
Most supporters just want to read/comment on their own team's matches and don't want to wade through pages of other supporters talking about their team's games.

Depends - personally, I read about our games and our team on our own forum. I come on here to see what's going on elsewhere really, which is easier in one thread.

Then whats the point in being on a multi club forum?

Agreed all fans have their own forums but without the input of the oppositions point of view. I don't like one multi-game threads because it is onerous skipping through dozens of posts that I'm not interested in reading.
I'm interested in most West Country teams [who are all doing well this season :) ] and can with single single threads go straight to reading about them.

We have this discussion every year and every year we end up with one thread on most games.

A vote on this match day dilemma is due any day now. In fact I've already embarked on a door to door canvassing campaign. I'm also dishing out food and drink hampers in return for votes as a gesture of goodwill . Erm, perhaps I should add that all hampers are kindly donated by my backers :hypo:

Well no actually that’s a load of crap, we did a vote on this and the majority wanted an all in one match thread, so most supporters don’t want to read/comment on just their own team.

Maybe so, maybe not but I notice that Grimsby have already had two single game threads this season.
The self evident, obvious, answer is to have both which is de-fact what is already happening.
A multi-thread for predicted fixtures where nobody will have much to say and a single game thread for teams, such as Grimsby, whose fans always have much to post about.

Nope , everyone knows their own forums backwards, I come here to see how the other half lives, thinks and feels, not just about their own team but mine as well.....and for once refreshing to find a friendly forum that's not full of nastiness, belitteling and expletives.

Single match threads please, even though we went top on Saturday and no-one could be arsed to start one - (yes, that includes me)

If it's going to be single match threads surely they should make a sub section, where all matchday threads go. The untidiness of it all hurts me.

No thanks, sub forums are even worse than sticky threads!

Edit: just noticed there already is one, but as sub forums are the devil nobody even knows about it!

Exactly what I said several days ago but we keep going round in circles, if you want a thread for your match, make one, if you don't comment in the matchday thread.

Single match day threads work better for non league as less people posting but this forum is much more saturated with posters so for the clubs with more following it does make sense to keep it in individual threads.

I do like to know a bit about the other games but not arsed enough to go through all the separate ones so finding a happy medium would be ideal.

Apart from Bradford only match threads - as has been proved, no need for them whatsoever.

I hardly ever go on ours. I was banned for a while, but now I have an account there again and have posted once or twice. Half of it though is just people mithering on about whatever shop on the high street is due to open/close or ranting about Brexit. Much prefer here.
