First half I thought I was watching a rerun of the Sunderland game we were utter shite, second half we come out and put 3 in, always great to win a game when you are 2-0 down but we’ve got to start turning up in the first half. The ref was crap, missed a pen for Blackpool but should have sent Douglas off for them and booked Madine for continuous diving, the rumour is he’s still rolling around the Keepmoat flattening all the bumps.

1-1. Probably a fair result in the end.

We still have a tendency to look ultra flimsy defensively however we stood up tonight and did much better than in previous weeks.

The game could have gone either way however we probably deserved the point.

Since the day he got the job I’ve been trying to work out why that clown is your manager.

The players are there (albeit we have 7 first team players injured) but they aren’t coached at all. We keep the ball for no reason. No plan, nothing. If there were any crowd there he’d have got slaughtered. He’ll always be an canary. Has been on borrowed time for a year

I was a little concerned when I saw the line-up with central midfielders in both full back positions and presumably Jones playing slightly deeper.

Didn't sound like we got going at all. Our attacking play has become a bit disjointed in the last three or four games but defensively we're doing ok and staying well in games bar the Portsmouth one.

Yup, we were pretty poor tonight and are below the standards we've set earlier on in the season, we had some good passages of play and got into good areas it's just that final ball which is missing. Grant and Johnson were quiet tonight. Still think we're missing that other striker, Hopper played well tonight but Morton would allow us to have a bit more of a variety in the final third.

It was such a strange appointment, considering how awful he has been at every club he has been at for what seems like an eternity now. I don’t really bother with opposition teams or fans (although Tranmere very much tested me in the early days of COVID), but I have genuinely felt a bit sorry for you lot having to put up with him.

I'm surprised and happy with the point as based on the season so far I expected defeat.

Not surprised to see our revisionist fans claim our goalkeeper pulled off a wonder save for their goal. Bizarre how he can fuck up every week and not only do our fans ignore it, but they somehow claim his fuck ups are good goalkeeping. A very, very simple 2 handed palm away would have sufficed for their goal.

I’m really not sure what make of it to be honest. My initial thoughts were it just didn’t look right. I defo think he made abit of a meal of it. I was more concerned about the 2 or 3 times he came for corners and long throws and got no where near the ball. I listened to the Accrington commentary last night and there player McConville was on co coms. He said they were told to target him as he’s a small keeper that tends to flap at a lot.

The 1st half flap at a Nottingham long throw was poor. Also a corner near the start of the 2nd half where their player maybe should have scored, he just stood on his post providing no cover for his goal whatsoever. I think he is terrible. By far our worst performer. If he wasn’t so good with the ball at his feet he would be nowhere near the FL.

Completely and utterly disagree. It was a fine save, let down by every Crewe player stopping dead whilst Accy players anticipated it.

He’s by no means perfect, but he’s young & improving and I think as good as we’ll get. The only thing that let him down with last nights goal was his lack of height! Defending has been atrocious these last two games and last nights performance in general was the worst in a while.

That’s got to be a wind up? He could quite literally have took 2 steps to his side and palmed the ball away.

As good as we can get? Fuck me I’ve heard that a lot from our fans over the years. It invariably turns out to be wrong.

Just watched Accrington’s behind goal cam. Not only were his feet a mess (like I said, 2 proper steps to the side and he would have been within easy range for a 2 handed parry) but he did still actually get there comfortably, but unfortunately his poppadom wrist (ala Jordan Pickford) meant he just parried it straight into his own goal mouth. He even managed to get some impressive back spin on it, just to aid Stanley that little bit more.

Nah I don’t think so. The eulogising of our keeper has gone on a bit too long now.

So last night went pretty much as feared/expected. Another top 7 or 8 side we just cannot beat.
