Three matches tonight.

Huddersfield vs. Blackpool
Orient vs. Peterborough
Wigan vs. Stevenage

Huddersfield can go third with a win whilst a Blackpool victory would leave Steve Bruce’s side level on points with the playoffs. Wigan and Stevenage are deadlocked on 7 points; a win here would give either side an above-average start to the season.

As for Orient we’ve perked up a bit but we’ll find it tough against Peterborough. Fergie Jnr. has been crying about injuries but no doubt their replacements will be high quality thanks to their impressive scouting system. Whilst our first XI is talented the squad has very little depth so it’ll be interesting to see how long Agyei & Kelman can keep playing 90 minutes. I’d happily take a draw.

Is that the correct crowd tonight at Wigan???
Must have more season tickets than that

Jeeez...just seen that crowd figure myself. Surely can't be right that...14 hundred??

Edit: Just looked on Fotmob and their last two L1 games were 8,400 v Crawley 9,500 v Charlton so gotta be wrong.

Deserved more from that I thought, nearly nicked it at the end and had the best chances throughout the whole game.

The amount of times we get done on transition and from our own set plays is getting frustrating, happened leading to the penalty for our second goal and to a lesser extent for the first after we give the ball away cheaply.

Posh as I thought, not the level they was last season, but still very threatening going forward, especially on the break with their pace, they still move the ball about well, but play with alot of risk - quite a few times Agyei and Kelman nearly forced huge errors out of Jed Steer in their goal with their pressing.

I didn't think Peterborough played as well as they could, but with the firepower they have they will always get goals from somewhere. Don't think they will be quite good/experienced enough to go up though.

Did not even know we had games on last night.

I know it’s only two games but seems a bit odd Huddersfield getting turned over at home by Northampton and Blackpool in a row.

Think udders are pretty pony tbh, they just lack quality in most areas.

Brucie will have Blackpool doing well in no time. Always will like Bruce for what he did with Blues and for being abysmal at Villa and Albion

Are these from international weekend then? Didn't realise there were any
Speaking of international rearrangements, was your guys game called off in the last round due to your side?

If so, do you expect your game up at ours on 12/10 to be as well?

It was called off. Northampton said it was us with the callups, but it seemed that we only has 2 called up (Roughan and McKiernan). Hackett would usually get called up but is out injuried. Therefore haven't the foggiest!

Haha cheers, I’m going to the NFL on the Sunday and not sure whether to book a hotel and go down on the Saturday. Would have been an easier decision if our game was off.

The third was Duffy who was on stand-by for ROI U21's apparently.

Including cup games we have lost 5 out our last 6 games, not looked particularly decent in the games we have won bar the odd 45, can’t stress how bad the last two games in particular have been.
Duff said his side would be well drilled, grafters, in the opponents face and on the front foot, not seeing that. Early days and we have picked up some points, but he needs to change something up for sure, play offs is the minimum expectation so fans will turn if we drop out, let alone have to watch much more of recent performances.

Slaughtered us because we have a manager who played a system nobody else has ever tried in world football added to suicidal players trying to play it out at the back.
Think you will be in the top 6 all season. A couple of teams will fall simply because they have a decent 11 but no real back up. I expect us and Rotherham to start to climb.
Not now convinced we can win promotion with Evatt.

Looked as if Blackpool exploited the same issues we did, press them high and smother them and they look pretty ropey.

Eric, how is Tyler Roberts getting on?

Definitely showing quality and a CLEAR improvement on what we have had. His link up play and ability to retain possession is a welcome change. Yet to get amongst the goals but I have no doubt he will, could see him featuring all across the front line and as a 10 when Eaves gets fit.
