Hope so! We did play well tonight although Wrexham really were as awful as their fans have made out. We rolled over them. Bakare is beyond terrible, the rest not much better. Jalal kept the score down by himself.

Very much a false position again for us. We'll beat Furby on Saturday to get people more excited but then we play some good teams, which we lose against. 10th spot for us still!

If we stop Forrest Gump winning on Saturday you could go top by thrashing NFU... for a couple of hours at least (Dagenham is the late game) - but then you have the pleasant trip to ours the week after

I'm a little surprised no-one has tried to take Askey from Macc.

Regardless of the budget, he always seems to get the best out of a small squad, built on quite a low budget. The only thing he never seems to get right is the goal-scoring, but that's down to finances more than anything I imagine.

Great result for Macc last night, didn't manage to go but my eldest was ball boy at the match in front of the Wrexham fans and loved it.
